The Colorado Renaissance Festival, Colorado’s premier summertime event, is a thematic recreation
of a 16th Century village and marketplace set in the picturesque mountain venue of Larkspurshire,
just south of Denver. Hundreds of colorfully costumed characters entertain continuously upon the
village streets and on the Festivals 10 stages, performing 60 shows daily. More than 200 period
artisans sell their one-of-a-kind works and demonstrate their ancient craft along the shaded streets
and pathways. Tantalizing medieval delicacies and the finest ales and beverages entice the palette
and satisfy the heartiest of appetites.
LOCATION: Larkspur, Colorado. The Festival is conveniently located off Interstate I-25, halfway
between Denver and Colorado Springs. Use exit 173 when coming from Denver and 172 when approaching
from Colorado Springs.
TRAVEL TIME: It takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to reach the Festival from ­Denver and Colorado
Springs.
EXPECTED ATTENDANCE: 225,000
2013 DATES: The Festival will be held for eight weekends, Saturdays and Sundays only! June 15TH
HOURS: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
through August 4TH. Weekends are June 15/16, 22/23, 29/30, July 6/7, 13/14, 20/21, 27/28, August 3/4.
ADMISSION: The gate admission for adults is $19.95 and $9.00 for children ages 5 to 12. Children
PARKING: FREE parking and shuttle service are available from the parking lot to the Festival entrance.
CORPORATE & GROUP SALES: Perfect for annual corporate outing, theme weddings, class and
under 5 are free.
family reunions, birthday, anniversary and retirement parties, our corporate picnic area is available for groups
of 75 to 2,000. This area is available to corporations at no cost. Reservation only.
