Book Clubs Gives Back ClassroomsCare is a philanthropy-based literacy program that teaches children the joy of reading and giving. When a class meets our challenge, Scholastic Book Clubs donates books through our Charity Partners — up to one million books to children in need! Scholastic also pairs with The Pajama Program, a nonprofit organization that provides pajamas and books to children who live in group homes, shelters, foster care, and orphanages.
