The annual count gives the triathlon industry a scope of what the sport’s best athletes are buying and an idea of who will be the major players for the next few years. After over five hours of counting, Cervelo once again dominated the count, but others are closing the gap. **** W h e n r e f e r r i n g to th e b e l o w c o u n t p l e a s e a ttr i b u te a l l d a ta to L a va m a g a z in e .com .* * * * * Bike s Cervelo – 488 (https://subscribe.pcspublink.com/sub/subscribe guid=8d933d0c460a4c46bf1e Trek – 220 Specialized – 209 Felt – 115 Scott – 91 Quintana Roo – 80 7ead181dd872) Cannondale – 79 Rec en t T ag s Argon 18 – 72 BMC – 68 Giant – 66 (http://lavamagazine.com/foodie fridayweekendbrunchedition Kuota – 53 proteinbananabread/) Foodie Friday (Weekend Brunch Ceepo – 52 Edition): Protein Ba ... Are you counting the extensions or the base bars or do they both get a nod in the count? Reply · Like · Follow Post · 13 October 2013 at 12:38 Steve Carter More than a Kona Bike Count, It would be more interesting, and useful, to have the Kona Flat Tire Count. I read that Ian Mickleson got a flat out of Hawi yesterday. I would like to know what brand of tire flatted on him. The aggregate sum of most flats would be the brand of tire to avoid. It would not be a difficult undertaking next year. Reply · Like · 13 October 2013 at 13:41 Ben Waite · Follow · Butler Mark from Profile and I did the aerobar count. When counting, we gave precedence to touch points. So Profile attachment hardware/pads and a Vision basebar would be counted as Profile. If the hardware/pads were not recognizable, the extension brand was counted. If that was not obvious, the basebar was counted. 99% of all the data is probably of the attachment hardware/pads. This is the same way we have done the count for the last several years. Reply · Like · Edited · 16 October 2013 at 07:32 Osymetric USA Osymetric USA chain rings...? "After last year I believed I could do it," he said at the finish line. "I worked hard this year—I've never worked this hard. I've never had such a feeling. It's the best I could have hoped for."
