 SavinGreen Mobile Phone Post-­‐Paid Auto Roaming (Optus 3G Supported Services) This Document outlines the Charges incurred when travelling overseas and using Post-­‐Paid Auto-­‐Roaming Services. These Services are by default inactivated. If you are travelling overseas you need to request activation of the service. How much does Post-­‐Paid AutoRoam™ cost? When you make a call or send and SMS you will be charged the rate for the zone you are in. When someone calls you (from Australia or overseas), they will be charged the normal cost of a call or SMS to a SavinGreen Mobile on the Optus Network in Australia. You pay the rate for receiving the call based on the country zone you are roaming in. Charges may vary if non-­‐automatic networks are chosen. One minute of streaming video uses around 1MB, this can cost around $0.06 to $2.00 These figures are based on an average mobile internet page and will depend on the handset type. All rates listed in $AUD. Voice & Video Calls rates are shown per minute and charged with an initial increment of 60 seconds and per 30 seconds thereafter. GST does not apply to roaming charges (with the exception of the standard SMS, MMS, international SMS and international MMS rates). 3G Roaming requires compatible mobiles/devices to use GPRS and 3G data. To make and receive video calls, both calling and receiving parties require a 3G mobile and must be located in a 3G-­‐coverage area on a network that supports video calling. Other Zone -­‐Includes all Marine and Satellite Calls Once activated, you can use your mobile services onboard maritime vessels while the ship is at sea. When a call is made, an SMS sent or data used you will be charged the AutoRoam™ rate for the zone of Maritime (Zone 3). When the ship is approaching port, the in-­‐ship system will turn itself off and you may lose mobile service until the ship reaches the port. Once in port, you can connect to the local roaming network at which point you will be charged the AutoRoam™ rate for the country they are in.
