The site Getting there Hotel Colon Miraflores - Calle Colón 600, Miraflores, Lima. The Miraflores Colon Hotel is located in the heart of the exclusive Miraflores district, only a block away from Larcomar and a few blocks from the best restaurants and shops. It is approximately 45 minutes’ by bus from Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM). All prices are in US$ / person. Documents Participants aged under 18 must bring a completed and signed Travelling Without Adult Leader (TWAL) form. The participation fee for Part 3 (1 night) is $68 Cancellations Age requirements The minimum age for AJBM is 16 years old. Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM). Please note that a cancellation fee equal to the full participation fee will be applied to anyone who cancels their application on or after 13 February 2016. If you don’t have it, that means you haven’t registered with myCISV until now – please do it now. In case you don’t know how to do it, here is an explanation how to do it: Registration with myCISV. To register, follow these short steps: 1. Go to – www.cisv.org 2. On the right side of the page you will see this icon Click on it! 3. Fill in name and address (and make sure you indicate your personal e-mail. 4. Select [REGISTER] 5. Check your e-mail inbox to confirm your registration by clicking on the link in the e- mail. (Once confirmed, you will receive your password to login through your e-mail address). Page 2 of 3 Visa requirements Please check with your national authorities and with the Peruvian Embassy in your country to find out if you need a visa in addition to your passport to come to Peru. Also, your passport may need to be valid for a certain period of time after traveling to Peru. What to bring and other important things to know Lima is the capital of Peru and it’s located in the central, coastal, part of the country, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With a population approaching 9 million, Lima is the most populous metropolitan area of Peru and one of the largest cities in the Americas. Peru has one of the best and most varied gastronomy of the world and Lima is also its gastronomical capital. At the time of the RTF/ARC/AJBM the weather will be approximately 25-28 C during the day, but you may appreciate a light sweater for the evening. You will not need vaccinations for your stay in Lima but if you wish to visit the jungle you will need them. The currency in Peru is Neuvo Sol (3.30 Nuevos Soles = approximately US$1) Places to stay and things to do If you plan to stay before or after the RTF/Regional Meeting, THIS LINK might help you to decide what to do.
