Course overview
Do you know 7 Eleven, APEF Services, Best Western,
Bikanerwala, Biocoop, Burger King, Cache-Cache,

Chicken, Chongqing, Colchões Ortobom, Curves, Day
Inn, Dezhuang, Dunkin’ Donuts, E. Leclerc, Gloria
Jean’s Coffees, Ibis, Intersport, Jacques Dessange,

common: their organization as a network!
Do you know that franchising has been constantly
growing for many years? There are more than
2.5 million franchised units worldwide (European
Franchise Federation, 2010). For instance, in the
United States, there are more than 2,200 networks,
including 746,828 franchised units, responsible for
8,100,000 jobs and generating 769 billion dollars
in revenue (Pricewaterhouse Coopers, 2012). In
Europe as well, franchising is particularly developed
with about 400,000 franchised units. In France for
example, there are 1,569 franchisors and 62,041
franchised units with 49.24 billion euros of turnover
(French Franchise Federation, 2012). Also in France,
associated retailing is composed of 80 groups,
corresponding to 142 networks, with a total of 40,362
units and 131.4 billion euros of turnover (Fédération
des enseignes du Commerce Associé, 2012).
Do you know that networks offer a wide range of
diversified career opportunities, in particular in the
marketing, management and development areas?
Do you want to discover this sector and acquire the
necessary skills to get a job in franchising or retailing,
in France or in any country of the world, or to pursue
your studies with a Ph.D. ? Join us in the Master
Marketing - Franchising and Network Management!

100 hours of French classes per semester, at a
pace of eight to ten hours per week.
All students will be expected to sit a French

Homogeneous groups will then be formed aiming at
preparing students for the internationally-recognized
