Workshop on National Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Policy, 2015

organized a workshop on the theme “National
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Policy
-2015” at Ranchi Ashok Hotel on 18th June,
2015. The workshop was attended by the
representatives of the national agencies as
well as state-skill
skill service providers, public
sector
and
private
sector

NGO
representatives. The MD & CEO of Jharkhand
Skill Development Mission Shri R
R.P Singh
highlighted the objectives of the workshop to
the participants, He also appreciated the
people of Jharkhand for taking due interest for
the development of this National Skill

Development & Entrepreneurship policy. State
Development Commissioner Shri R.S Poddar,
has stressed for concern to take root

exercises for this scheme with proper
utilization of skilled resources at national level.
This will provide an ample scope for job
speaker at state as well as on national

He has suggested concrete policy for National
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The

number of local villagers were present. CM said that the girls rescued from the trap of
Migration & Trafficking will be skilled and will be linked to employment by government.
About 20 children, girls and women shall be skilled and employed to make them
economically self-dependent.
 NABARD trained farmers on mixed farming in the state
Training was organized by women development department of NABARD on 18th
June 2015, for the farmers on the mixed farming technique. The Specialist from
Agriculture Department Shri R.K Thakur, were present there as a trainer. During
this training session farmers were trained on the cultivation of Frenchbean,
Bittergourd, Ladyfinger, Tomato and Chili in a single field. This training will help
the farmers to grow different types of crops in a single field and which will help to
increase & maintain the fertility of their field as well as their income. The training
will help the farmers of Torpa & Raniya regions of the state in which more than
250 farmers participated.

Australian Qualification Framework (AQF), who

Middle East. This initiative is also an important
step towards furthering the India – Australia
Skills Partnership which was launched during
the Prime Minister’s visit last year. The

biggest skill development center on 21st June,
2015. The Rayat-Bahra
Bahra Group of Institutions
has set up one of the biggest skill development
centers on its premises, located at Sahauran
village. Shri Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that
“We aim to train 10,000 students in 2015

(5,000 Class X and Class XII dropouts and
5,000 students from diploma and graduate
courses) in the automobile, mechanical,
electrical, electronics, IT, banking, fast moving
consumer goods (FMCG), retail, securit

 Goa Shipyard and CII signed MOU on
skill development for naval warships
The government has launched an online
portal for job seekers in the micro, small and
medium enterprises (MSME) sector on 15th
June,
2015.
The

www.eex.dcmsme.gov.in- will also help the
industry to find skilled

portal provides a platform for skilled hands
where they can find livelihoods. Micro, Small
and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Honorable

with the Prime Minister's vision of Digital
