The workshop was attended by the representatives of the national agencies as well as state-skill skill service providers, public sector and private sector and NGO representatives. The MD & CEO of Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Shri R R.P Singh highlighted the objectives of the workshop to the participants, He also appreciated the people of Jharkhand for taking due interest for the development of this National Skill S Development & Entrepreneurship policy. State Development Commissioner Shri R.S Poddar, has stressed for concern to take root root-based exercises for this scheme with proper utilization of skilled resources at national level. This will provide an ample scope for job speaker at state as well as on national tional level. He has suggested concrete policy for National Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The Labour Commissioner and CEO of Jhar Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Shri Praveen Toppo believes that skill development training among Attentive Participants during workshop Shri R.S Poddar, Dev. Commissioner addressing participant youths shall provide tremendous remendous employment opportunities within the state and outside. The JHARCRAFT former M.D Shri Dhirendra Kumar suggested that small trade should match with market requirements. Industries specific skill based training will provide employability solutions for the youngsters of the state. Birsa Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor, Vice Dr. George John, spoke about the ample scope in agricultural fields; the implementation of skill development evelopment will boost this field and will provide tremendous employment opportunities to the youth population.. Former VBU vicechancellor Dr. M.P Singh said that there are multiple scopes available in university &collages collages level in the field of skill based training. Skill based training brings in new challenges in term of growing aspirants among the people for better living conditions and economic prosperity. Later on MD & CEO handed over these recommendations to the Joint Secretary Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajesh Agrawal for consideration deration by Government of India. Jharkhand Specific Inauguration of “Nari Niketan” for girl’s & women of the state Honorable Chief Minister Shri Raghuvar Das and Welfare Minister Dr. Lewis Marandi have inaugurated the newly built 'Nari Niketan' on 26th June 2015 at Arsanda in Kanke, Ranchi. On this occasion Honorable MP Shri. Ramtahal Chaudhary, MLA Dr. Jitu Charan Ram, Principal Secretary, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development Department Honorable CM at Inauguration Ceremony Smt Mridula Sinha, Secretary to CM Shri Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Ranchi DC Shri Manoj Kumar and a large number of local villagers were present. CM said that the girls rescued from the trap of Migration & Trafficking will be skilled and will be linked to employment by government. About 20 children, girls and women shall be skilled and employed to make them economically self-dependent. NABARD trained farmers on mixed farming in the state Training was organized by women development department of NABARD on 18th June 2015, for the farmers on the mixed farming technique. The Specialist from Agriculture Department Shri R.K Thakur, were present there as a trainer. During this training session farmers were trained on the cultivation of Frenchbean, Bittergourd, Ladyfinger, Tomato and Chili in a single field. This training will help the farmers to grow different types of crops in a single field and which will help to increase & maintain the fertility of their field as well as their income. The training will help the farmers of Torpa & Raniya regions of the state in which more than 250 farmers participated. This initiative is also an important step towards furthering the India – Australia Skills Partnership which was launched during the Prime Minister’s visit last year. Shri Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that “We aim to train 10,000 students in 2015 2015-16 (5,000 Class X and Class XII dropouts and 5,000 students from diploma and graduate courses) in the automobile, mechanical, electrical, electronics, IT, banking, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, securit security, health, agriculture, construction, plumbing, hospitality and tourism and vehicle driving sectors”.
