SUMMER - Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks
SUMMER
2016
What is the Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks experience?
Set on its own private lake in the Adirondack Mountains, this
non-denominational Christian camp for girls is a warm and
accepting environment where girls make new friends, try
new activities, explore the wonders of nature, and gain the
spiritual grounding to become confident, godly women.
“The staff was wonderful! They continue
to be heroes in my daughters’ lives.”
“The value system which we are striving to
teach at home seems to be totally supported
and encouraged by various staff she associated
with during her time at camp. ”
“Camp is like home because you feel
welcome. People you don’t even know
welcome you and invite you to join
them. They are glad you’re there.”
Spiritual Formation
Creation Appreciation
Building Skills
Building Community
Daily personal and group worship,
devotional time, prayer, and reflection
encourage and support a camper’s
growth in her personal relationship
with God under the caring leadership
of well-trained Christian staff.
Living each day surrounded by the
natural beauty of Camp Cedarbrook
in the Adirondacks, campers develop
a deeper appreciation of God’s
creation, and grow to appreciate and
care for the natural environment.
Campers have fun, discover, and
celebrate their God-given abilities,
and develop increased competence,
self-confidence, and leadership skills
through learning and improving in
challenging, skill-building activities.
Living and learning together
encourages campers to make new
friends, respect and value the
differences in others, make choices,
see the results of their decisions, and
work together as a team.

“Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ,
who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.
As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole
body is healthy and growing and full of love.” —Ephesians 4:15–16 (NLT)
