Bring the World to Your Classroom
Four Reasons to Partner with AY USA
#1 - RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
#3 - FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Development & operation of faculty-led international study
programs.
Inclusive pricing and guaranteed exchange rates. No
budget surprises.
When resources are in short supply, schools often enlist faculty members
to develop their own international study programs. Even if your faculty
members have traveled extensively or led groups before, this is not the
best use of their time and skills. AYUSA Study Abroad (ASA) is a division
of Intrax Cultural Exchange. Intrax has developed faculty-led international
study programs for over 25 years. We understand how to work with
faculty to develop unique programs which reflect their individual styles
while meeting the time constraints and financial needs of students. Our
seasoned staff will produce a program to any destination outside North
America based on the faculty leader’s curriculum and goals. Faculty
members will enjoy more time to increase overall participation in study
abroad.
By combining the buying power of hundreds of study programs as
well as that of the Intrax Cultural Exchange family of companies,
ASA offers your participants an affordable, yet content-rich
international study program. All ASA programs are created to
meet the price you need to deliver to your students. Our program
price will include flights, ground transportation, housing, local
assistance, special program elements, classroom space, entrance
fees, most meals, and any other item necessary to provide a
quality academic and cultural experience for your participants.
We also include all taxes and service fees so there are no hidden
charges. Program costs for faculty leaders are generally included
in the student program price, subject to school policy.
#2 - RISK MANAGEMENT
#4 - THE ABILITY TO MOVE FORWARD
Travel insurance provided for all participants.
Our unique Cancellation Fee Waiver.
All participants (including faculty leaders) are covered by a comprehensive
accident and sickness insurance policy underwritten by the HM Life
Insurance Company. A 24-hour help center is always available to provide
professional assistance for any medical needs. As an added layer of
protection, ASA maintains a $10,000,000 general liability policy through our
parent company. All ASA programs are accompanied by a local on-site
coordinator who is fluent in the local language and customs. This person
will provide invaluable support to your faculty leader by ensuring that all
logistical arrangements are provided as promised, any potential service
problems are resolved and most importantly, all necessary duties are
performed to ensure the safety and well being of your participants.
We live in uncertain times, but the interest in international
education and experiences abroad has never been greater. These
experiences require preparation and planning, usually months in
advance. Traditional methods of planning short-term, faculty-led
programs require risking large deposits or payments should a
participant cancel or the entire group choose not to travel. ASA
offers a Cancellation Fee Waiver, which allows your participants
to cancel up to three business days prior to departure and receive
a full refund. We also offer your institution a number of flexible
options for full group changes or cancellation.
