LUBRICANTS PREVENTS ABRASION AND FRETTING D TEE RAN R GUA ITY FO S L L QUA SSIONA E F O PR • Reduces friction, wear and material losses • Increases the lifetime of the base materials • Ideal pre treatment at assembling of parts • Prevents seizing of fine threaded compounds • Easier handling and running-in of mechanisms • It forms a thin layer of molybdenum disulfide • Operating temperature range: -200°C to +450°C • Excellent in dusty and humid fields Moly Lube MYE GENERAL INFORMATION MOLY LUBE is a molybdenum disulfide powder of very high purity. Used for the pre-treatment of various parts before assembling. No reduction of mechanical gaps. Makes running-in easier, reduces friction, increases parts lifetime. A MOLY LUBE application significantly slows down and often eliminates “fretting” problems (for various assembling as: bearings, bushes, cones mounting, swinging joints, pulleys, spindles, cogwheels etc). TECHNICAL INFORMATION Appearance: bluish grey/ paste Density at 20° C: MoS2 powder (ISO 787 IXI) Vapour pressure: below 110 kPa (1.10 bar). Flammability: high flammable Auto ignition: > 200°C Temp. Resistance: - 200°C to 450°C (600°C in non oxidizing atmosphere) Friction coefficient: 0,03 – 0,06 MoS2 granulometry: 96 % < 2 µ Shelf life: 12 month Safety measures: Consult the Safety Data Sheet Approved by the Aircraft industry PD 81600: NATO S 749, US MIL L 23398 C; FR no. 34593STA/SE/S5 Approved by Air Liquide: RE No.2006/ R320 according to ISO 11114-3/EN 1797 f up to 20 bar at 250°C. Conforms to the M5 A standards of the coal mining industries. APPLICATION AND USE DRY LUBRICATION FOR SLOW MOVING, LIGHTLY AND HEAVY LOADED SURFACES • Applications: Taps and compressed air bottles, including oxygen, as well as mechanisms and regulators and pipes fittings. Mechanisms used mostly in dusty and humid environment. For easier assembling and abrasion reduction of cold fitting assemblies and various fitted assemblies. Various mechanisms in extreme temperature fields, make using of liquid, or plasticized lubricants almost impossible. Dry lubrication of rotating or sliding joints out of synthetic materials, in particular on pneumatic servomechanisms they cannot lubricated by standard processes. Name Moly Lube • Use: For optimum efficiency clean the surface by using a solvent. Shake well before use. Move the valve towards the surface and spray in a distance of 20 to 30cm. Spray very lightly, to avoid thick layers. Allow the film to dry, till it becomes a mat grey. Use in well ventilated areas. Do not spray on hot surfaces and keep it away from ignition sources.
