(s14) 14 Resort Etiquette Guidelines & information All guidelines are intended to increase the comfort and safety of our guests as well as maintaining our Campground’s beauty. Please familiarize yourself with this information to make your stay more enjoyable. REGISTRATION All campers must register at the Office or by express check in upon arrival. If guests are visiting you during your stay, they all must register at the office, pay the guest fee, and receive wristbands upon arriving. Each site/cabin is allowed 2 cars per site (tent sites 1) and 1 gate key per vehicle. Because the safety of all guests is very important, we check often that all guests have wristbands & all vehicles have car passes. WATER AMENITIES Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the pools. No T-shirts or cut off clothing allowed. Small children must wear swim diapers to prevent accidents. If an accident occurs pools must be shut down for a minimum of one hour to adjust chemicals for safety reasons. No diving, running, jumping, or horseplay in or around the pool area. For your safety no rafts, pool noodles, or other flotation devices allowed in the pool with the exception of swim aids. No eating, drinking, or smoking within the gated pool deck. Children under age 14 must be supervised by an adult when in the water zone. Those who misuse pool equipment, hang from basketball hoops, buoys, or volleyball nets will be charged for damages assessed and asked to leave. Please read all rules prior to using waterslide or any swim amenities we offer. GOLF CARTS: Golf cart rules are strictly enforced. Please inform the office of those misusing or abusing rules. Renters must be 21. Drivers must be 18. Lights must be on after dark and carts must be parked during quiet hours. Carts must be driven responsibly, only on campground roads & under 5 mph. Carts are for 4 adult riders. Those with small children may allow more if riders can be seated comfortably on cart seats- not laps (for their safety). We do not allow any personal Golf Carts on site that are NOT our rentals. Alcohol is not allowed on Golf Carts and all vehicle laws apply to drivers. CONTACTING US: Please take note of Reservation hours upon check in. In the event you need someone to assist you after the hours our reservation office is open or if you have an after hours concern or problem with noise or any other issue, please contact us at 262-835-2565 in the case of an emergency. If you are in need of assistance due to handicap disabilities, please inform us upon arrival so we can meet any additional needs you may have. COMMON COURTESY Quiet hours are 11:00PM-8:00AM, 10:00PM-8:00AM on weekdays, (also curfew for children) & are enforced. If a guest is causing discomfort to you during quiet hours please contact the after hours line and let us know: 262-835-2565. Ill-mannered conduct will NOT be tolerated (including the use of foul language). Registered campers are responsible for their guests and children’s conduct and behavior. It is recommended that kids 14 and under are accompanied by an adult at all times for safety reasons. Campers are environmentally conscious. No littering please! Please leave the campsite/cabin as clean as when you arrived & DO NOT move tables or fire rings from one site to another. Failure to comply results in maintenance fees. Please, NO walking through the campsites of others. GENERAL GUIDELINES PROPERTY ADJOINING THE CAMPGROUND IS PRIVATELY OWNED. PLEASE, NO TRESPASSING. A camper is not a tenant but a licensee guest on a day to day basis. The camper has no property or possessory rights in the campsite or cabin being occupied. The use of alcoholic beverages must be confined to the camper’s assigned space only. No beer kegs allowed in the resort. Proper language fit for all ages is requested at all times. Many of our guests are children. Shoplifters will be prosecuted. The use of fireworks, BB guns, air soft guns, paint ball guns, slingshots or items that may be used as weapons are prohibited. Glass bottles are permitted only on sites. Campfires must be contained inside fire rings on campsites & must be put out when unattended. Only natural materials allowed in campfires. Bottles, cans or unburnable items left in fire pits and unkempt campsites will result in a minimum fine of $50 for clean up. Firewood is sold in the store and must be purchased with in the campground. Due to the spread of tree diseases, we do not allow ANY carry in firewood. This or removal of trees from campground property, dead or alive will result in a $200 fine. After dusk, please use a flashlight and do not use bikes. Safe, slow driving is a must. Please observe 5 MPH speed limit. No washing of RVs or personal vehicles. Refer to map for dumpster locations for disposing of your garbage. Please remember not to leave trash outside overnight. Excessive personal belongings such as tents and mattresses must be disposed of outside of the campground. Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature or for early departures. Our park is a privately held property, and as such we reserve the right to remove any trouble maker(s) without refund. As always, parents please be mindful of where your children are at all times. They should be aware of their campsite number. Please keep valuables & coolers containing food & beverages in a locked vehicle at night. We are not responsible for stolen items. For safety reasons, all playground areas close at dusk. Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia to photograph a visitor while on the premises & to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor. The guest assumes all risks & danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking or swimming at the Camp-Resort or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp-Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes. We are always open to listening to needs of our guests. Because of this, policies are subject to change without given notice.
