Settings 2 Return to top Getting Started 1 Compatibility The iOS Telenotes app is compatible with iOS 7, 8, and 8.1 on the following devices: • iPhone 5, 5s, 5c • iPhone 6, 6 Plus The app is not yet optimized for use on iPad devices, although you may still use it as is on your iPad. The app may work on older devices such as iPhone 4, although performance issues may be present. Installing the app Go to the app store on your compatible iOS device, and search for Telenotes. Select “Get” and type in your Apple ID password when prompted. Once the download is complete, select “Open”. To install on an iPad select “iPhone only” rather than “iPad Only” from the dropbox in the top left corner of the app store. 3 Return to top Logging into the app Enter your mailbox/PIN number and your password. Select Login. Passwords are case sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, please click on the link below to reset your password: Forgot Password? Once you login, Telenotes will sync all of your data to your device. This may take some time if you have large amounts of data to synchronize. 4 Return to top App Navigation 2 Home Screen The home screen has links to the most important aspects of your Telenotes data, such as your companies and your contacts. Just click on the link to view the records. From the home screen, you can also click record a note, to dictate the details of your sales call. To return to the home screen from another page in the app, simply click on the home button in the bottom left of the screen, or click the back button in the top left. 5 Return to top Companies From the companies section, you can search at the top for a company name, scroll through all of the companies, or tap a letter on the right side of the screen to jump to a letter. Tapping a company name will open up the details of the company such as the full address, id, and any custom fields. 6 Return to top Contacts Similar to companies, you may search for contacts by name, scroll through the entire list, or tap a letter on the right side of the screen to jump to a letter. Tapping on the contact name will reveal all of the contacts details including title, address, and phone number. Note: You can also get to the contacts by selecting contacts from the company detail page for a specific company. 7 Return to top Calendar The calendar is a quick way to access your follow up tasks. A small blue number represents how many follow up tasks you have for that day. To see the tasks, simply tap on that day. You may click on the follow up to see more details. If you have completed the follow up, select the check box, then click OK to confirm that the task is complete. 8 Return to top Follow ups This is a complete list of all of your incomplete follow up tasks. You can tap on the record to view the task details. You can also tap the check box to complete the task. Once a task is complete, it will not longer show in this list. You can view all completed tasks in the call notes section. You may sort these tasks by newest due date or oldest due date by tapping the sort selector in to top right corner. 9 Return to top Call Notes This is all of your call notes, regardless of whether or not they had a follow up task or not. You can tap on a call note to see more details including the narratives and follow up information. If there is a follow up in the call note, you will see a check box under the company name. You can tap that box to mark the task as complete. 10 Return to top For Managers 3 My Sales Reps To view the information such as companies and call notes for your sales reps, simply go to My Sales Reps from the home screen.
