Why ? Why should STIB promote the use of cars ? How to organise the sharing aspects ? Risk of bad use ? What about the economic viability ? Conclusion • • Public Transport and CarSharing are really natural partners The co-operation between PT and CS operators : • • • Make it possible to develop and improve the CarSharing scheme Contribute to give a better image of the Public Transport and to improve the global mobility offer Has a positive impact on the use of PT Conclusion A large PT offer including CarSharing and other Combined Mobility Services is a clear benefit for the city and make it possible to live and work in th city without owning a car! & Ride Thank you for your attention ! www.stib.be www.cambio.be Didier Dumont dumontd@stib.irisnet.be
