Finite minds can only catch glimpses of the wonder, glory, beauty, and perfection of heaven. We do know this: heaven is real and it awaits those who accept the perfect sacrifice of Jesus for their sins and trust in Him alone. In heaven, we will be in the presence of the Perfect One, where splendor and joy explode into worship. Let's begin that worship today. Pray for Ron & Marcia Baker, retired from CAM International., but serving with HCJB as Chaplain along the US/Mexico border. HCJB broadcasts from 15 stations, 4 in English and 11 in Spanish. In spite of poor economy, the Lord is providing the finances for many radio stations. People are turning to the Lord in record number due to the violence along the 2,000 mile border. The message of the Gospel is beaming into their territory and they are thrilled to talk to many of the people that are coming to faith in Christ. Simplify Your Life--Get Organized and Stay that Way! All women are invited to attend a Saturday morning seminar featuring Marcia Ramsland, “The Organizing Pro”, on April 30, from 9:00am—12:30pm here at HPBC. Stop by the Women’s Ministry Table for more information and to register. In three sessions, Marcia will provide instruction on organizing your space, your time and your life! As God's family, we want to reach out in practical ways to help those most devastated by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. In order to be sure that our financial gift as a church is best used in Jesus' name, we will be cooperating with the Detroit Japanese Christian Fellowship Church in Novi to assist the Sendai Bible Church, which is located in the hardest hit area of Japan. Detroit JCF has already begun sending some money to this church in order to help church members who lost their homes. As we reach out with the love of Christ to these who are suffering, let's pray that the Spirit would open many doors for the Gospel to penetrate broken hearts during these days, as Japanese Believers reach out to others. If you desire to give to this relief effort, please mark a blue envelope - Japan Relief. This special offering will be received today and next week, April 17.
