It also incorporates a CD of some of the best of their Christmas music from the renowned Hyperion catalogue and is sumptuously illustrated with Sacred Art for Christmas from Irish collections, some published for the first time. Images in this book include sacred art from Trinity College Dublin, the Hunt Museum, the Ulster Museum, the National Gallery of Ireland, Waterford Museum of Treasures, the Chester Beatty Library and Glenstal Abbey. RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ Lyric FM will promote the book and CD on primetime radio, on their website, all major trade magazines and national press. Two major launches are planned in Limerick and Dublin. About the author: Tim’s broadcasting career began in the 1980s compiling and presenting several series for RTÉ on Early and Choral music and Contemporary Jazz. He ran 5 International Dublin Early Music Festivals from 1988 to 1992 and writes and lectures on a wide range of musical subjects.
