Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
Be not burdened with
I’m following the path God
time of sorrow,
laid for me,
I wish for you the
I took his hand when I heard Him call:
sunshine of tomorrow.
I turned my back and left it all.
My life’s been full,
I could not stay another day.
I’ve savored much.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Good, friends, good times,
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
a loved one’s touch.
I found peace at the close of the day. Perhaps my time seems all to brief.
If my parting left a void,
Don’t lengthen it now
Then fill it with remembered joys.
with undue grief.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Lift up your hearts and peace to Thee.
oh yes these things too I will miss.
God wanted me now.
