Terry Magby, Officiating Mr. Saul Reese was born on June 12, 1941 in Chambers County Alabama to the late Earsie Trammell and J.C. Reese. He died on July 7, 2016 at his home in Valley, AL. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Alphonso Copeland. Mr. Saul Reese leaves to cherish his memory: five children, Miracle Davis of Valley, AL; Jerome (Veronica) Reese of Lafayette, AL, Melissa Holloway of Lafayette, AL, Ellis (Sherry) Copeland of West Point, GA and Kay Dowell of Waverly, AL; two sisters, Brenda Heard and Lula Carlisle both of Auburn, AL; three brothers, Terry Ware of Opelika, AL, George Carlisle of Lafayette, AL, and Willie Trammell of Foley, AL; one aunt, Lavera Banks of Lafayette, AL; thirteen grandchildren, twentyone great grandchildren, a special friend, Cathy Gibson of West Point, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I turned my back and left it all. My life’s been full, I could not stay another day. I’ve savored much. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Good, friends, good times, Tasks left undone must stay that way, a loved one’s touch. I found peace at the close of the day. Perhaps my time seems all to brief. If my parting left a void, Don’t lengthen it now Then fill it with remembered joys. with undue grief.
