Prospective, current and expanding businesses from all sectors in Citrus County are
invited to attend the Citrus Economic Summit focused on Staying Strong in the Current
Economy on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the CFCC Citrus
Campus Conference Facility, located at 3800 S. Lecanto Hwy, Lecanto, Florida.
The keynote speaker Jerry Ross, Executive Director of the Disney Entrepreneurial Center
will address the topic of “Small Business Tips for Staying Strong in the Current Economy.”
Panel discussions from local and regional business experts will include the topics of
locating and using small business resources, marketing techniques, finding and
developing talent and navigating government resources.
The summit is a partnership by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, Citrus County
Economic Development Council, Central Florida Community College, SCORE, University
of North Florida Small Business Development Center and Workforce Connection.
