About Cardinal Spellman
Cardinal Spellman High School is a Catholic co-ed college preparatory school founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph. We are situated on
a pristine 42-acre campus in a residential section of Brockton. Spellman is a place with community, spirit, and vitality. With almost 700
students, we are large enough to offer diversity and small enough to
call you by name.
Our school is dedicated to providing excellence in Catholic education
in a safe and supportive environment for our students. We ask our
students to give their best in the classroom, on the field, on the
stage, in the audience or stands, and out in their community. Spellman offers a diverse, rigorous and technology supported curriculum
taught by a passionate and highly qualified faculty and staff.
Students will be challenged to become leaders and to reach their
maximum potential by achieving excellence in academic and extracurricular pursuits. It is our goal to produce students who are
prepared to attend the very best colleges and who are also well
rounded, good, respectful and responsible citizens eager to be positive contributors to their community, Church and to our world.
Highlights
The academic program at CSHS is designed so that, with
careful selection, each student may acquire the appropriate background for a successful post-secondary
education.
We urge all students to pursue a program that is as
demanding and challenging as possible in order to:
(1) develop their God-given talents to the fullest;
(2) increase their chances for admission to college; and
(3) expand their options and potential for success in
college and life.
