July - Moore Chamber of Commerce
INFORMING THE INVESTORS OF THE MOORE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SINCE 1946 BUSINESS Congratulations! Mrs. Debbie Arato, Superintendent of Moore Public Schools, was named Superintendent of the year by the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators. Mrs. Arato has served as Superintendent of Moore Public Schools since July of 2004. She also serves as an Advisory Director of the Moore Chamber of Commerce. Congratulations, Mrs. Arato! Annual Golf Tournament a Success Held at one of Oklahoma’s premier golf venues, Belmar Golf and Country Club, on Monday, June 15, the Moore Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament was, once again, highly successful. Twenty-seven teams participated in the four-person scramble, with first and second places awarded in the two-flight tournament. The course was in excellent condition, and the personnel at Belmar made the occasion a most enjoyable event. In addition to the sponsors of the 27 teams, there were 30 chamber members who joined in sponsoring individual holes. Moving up the sponsorship ladder another notch, Frontier State Bank sponsored the luncheon, Tinker Federal Credit Union and Home Creations the photo carts, US Lawns and Universal Insurance the drink carts, and Charles Thompson and Integris Southwest Medical Center the 19th hole refreshments. Winners of their respective flights were Intrust Bank and Eide Bailly. C&W Trimwork took second in the first flight and Tinker Federal Credit Union won second place in the second flight. Patty Daniel of Moore Norman Technology won the prize for the longest drive, and Jase Rahill of Daisy Exchange won the closest to the pin contest. However, the real winners were the 108 golfers and the individuls from the various member institutions who assisted in registration and the numerous tasks that make a tournament like this successful. Thanks to all! see inside for chamber golf tournament winners 1 JULY 2009 2009 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Patti Morgan, President Eide Bailly, LLP Roger Pryor, President Elect Coldwell Banker Select (Marolyn Pryor Realty) John Hunter, Past President Moore Norman Technology Center Jan Moran, Secretary AT&T Jerry Monroe, Treasurer Frontier State Bank Jan Astani Home Creations Stephanie Clinkenbeard-Clowdus Century 21 Clinkenbeard Group Michael Cooper Yellow Rose Theater Russell Hollingsworth Universal Insurance Leon Pfeifer Cox Communications Frank Randall Randall’s Temp Control Specialists Dr. Jerry Steward OCCC Monty Strickland Coldwell Banker Carousel Realty Craig Turner Exchange National Bank Debbie Venard Dr. Max D.
