areas by the American Institute
of Professional Bookkeepers.
She had been employed as a
hairdresser prior to enrolling at
Moore Norman.
On a personal note, Kacey spent
most of her school years in
small towns in the Norman area,
graduating from Washington
High School. She states she is
very close to her family, and that
is apparent. Most important
among the personal data is the
fact that she has a 13-month-old
son named Max.
Welcome to Moore and the
Moore Chamber of Commerce,
Kacey.

Business Before Hours & Business After Hours Events
Chamber Ambassador Passes
Dr. John Davis, a
retired educator
and prominent
Moore citizen,
died early
Sunday morning,
February 17, from
injuries received
in a single vehicle
accident Saturday
evening. Dr. Davis
had retired from
Rose State College
in 1985 after
serving a number
years as Vice
President and one year as Interim President.
Business After Hours was hosted by the Moore
Public Library, 225 S. Howard on February 21.
John’s service was held at the First Baptist Church
on February 21. He will be deeply missed in
his service as an Ambassador. Seldom did the
chamber have an event in which John was not
present and actively representing the Chamber of
Commerce.
John was survived by his three children; John Karl
Davis, Greg Davis and Connie Pierce. John’s life
was an example of an exceptionally well-lived life.
Business Before Hours was held February 14 at
Rambling Oaks Courtyard, 12310 S. Western.
