Their programme opens with Smetana’s dramatic Sarka, from the composer’s autobiographic symphonic poem, ‘Ma Vlast’. We’re then very pleased to have as soloist the ever popular Chloe Hanslip, who will perform Dvorak’s masterpiece for violin and orchestra. Featuring traditional military marches, the world famous Corps of Drums, some classical favourites including solo performances on a range of instruments, a bit of Big Band and, as it is Advent Sunday, a flavour of the festive season.
