lessons in one of eight themes, according to which theme is available on during the week(s) the learner would be
following his/her course. The themes are English through: Literature, Interior Design, Creative Writing, Art

€75+24x€125+Kx€110, where K= the number of weeks in excess of 24 weeks. Hence, a 30 week course would be
€75 + 24 x €125 + 6 x €110 = €3,735

Course Title: University Foundation
Course Description
The University Foundation Programme in Business Studies is a 30-week course (including a two-week break) which
prepares the student for entry into the first year of various business courses in a number of English-speaking Universities
in Australia, Great Britain and the United States. The programme consists of an intensive course in General English which
is targeted to improve the student’s proficiency level, combined with exam preparation and introductory level lessons in
business subjects covering Business, Qualitative Methods, Business Communication and Accounting in preparation for
the examinations leading to ABE Diploma in Business Management which is a Level 4 award of the European
Qualifications Framework. This requires diligent and motivated students who would dedicate significant hours per week
for self-study in addition to the face-to-face course component: success in both the IELTS and ABE exams, however,
enables students to accelerate their academic path towards entry into one of the Universities listed in the Appendix.
