AERC. THE ONE NAME TO REMEMBER
FOR ALL YOUR RECYCLING NEEDS.
AERC is one of the leading full-service recycling companies in the nation. We are committed
to developing and utilizing the recycling technologies of today, for a cleaner, healthier
environment tomorrow.
Our comprehensive services include recycling solutions for troublesome, harmful waste such as
lamps, ballasts, batteries, electronic scrap and mercury containing material. We are specialists at helping
you eliminate your environmental liability while also reducing your labor, paperwork and associated costs.
CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU CAN RELY ON.
With decades of experience in handling regulated waste, AERC provides
recycling services to many Fortune 500 companies and national utilities.
We help clients eliminate their liability by emphasizing appropriate industrial
hygiene, ensuring safety and environmental compliance and maintaining
comprehensive insurance coverage.
Mercury recycling is one of the most important environmental issues of
our time. Many businesses don’t realize that most of the lamps they use
every day contain mercury. They often improperly, and illegally, dispose
of these materials risking heavy fines, public embarrassment and long-term
liability. AERC has developed sound recycling processes to help bring these
businesses into compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations.

Our American-made equipment utilizes patented
technology to treat all parts of the lamp by a process
involving crushing, then separating the glass, metal and
phosphor powder into recoverable materials that are
then sent to market for reuse.
The LSS-1 separates the components
of the fluorescent lamps.
