TECHNOLOGICAL CLUSTERS
INTERNATIONAL THINK TANKS
To allow exhibitors and visitors to enhance their
strategic vision, Eurosatory has a dedicated
area for think tanks. They present their research,
organise workshop-debates and take part in the
different conferences during the show.
In 2008, participation by IFRI, RUSI, FRS, HCFDC
and SIPRI* gave the show an added dimension
in terms of geopolitical analysis and defence
concepts that was very much appreciated.
Exhibitors positioned on specific technology
niches can exhibit in clusters to improve their
visibility and be more easily identified by visitors.
A conference area will be set aside for them.
Some of the clusters planned for 2010:
- Equipment for the individual soldier
- Embedded electronics
- CBRN
- Night vision
- Operational medicine
- UAS – UGV
- Training & Simulation…
At Eurosatory 2008, each cluster accounted for
more than 20% of visitors’ centres of interest.
