GOOD MOOD
& OPTIMISM
Dear Exhibitors, Despite a difficult economic environment, the atmosphere was
generally positive. Many exhibitors, aware of that 2014 will be a
decisive year, are confident and go forward.
The 29th Salon du Vegetal gathered 545 exhibitors and around
15,057 trade visitors from all over France and 32 countries.
21% of visitors are professional buyers of the distribution field.
They discovered, in the renovated building Ardésia, the new
distribution center and its event ‘L’Îlot Distribution’. Trends,
prospectives and solutions were at the rendezvous .
The Landscape / Green Spaces industry (collectivities, landscapers),
representing 29% of visitors, saw a broader plants and exhibitors
offer in the green spaces and landscaping centre (Ardésia hall).
Daily talks were sold.
Growers (representing 25 % of visitors) benefited from the Young
Plants centre.
The cut flowers center also met with great success.
The record number of new products registered at the novelties
competition Innovert - 54 , never seen - is proof of the vitality of
the flowers and plants industry. 15 innovations were awarded.
30min sessions of the Plant Prospective centre were acclaimed by
visitors enjoying themes, short time.
We are looking forward to seeing you next year, from the 17th to
