Over the last 25 years paediatric liver transplantation has emerged
from an experimental concept to established medical therapy. This
successful development forces us to continuously consider new
approaches to further improve the care of liver transplanted
children.
This monothematic conference on paediatric liver transplantation is
organized on behalf of the ESPGHAN Hepatology Committee. The
focus will be on improving late outcomes and organ allocation
strategies, transplant immunology, and new and challenging
indications. Single centre experiences, pro- and con debates, as well
as deeper reviews will be presented, with the primary objective to
encourage constructive discussions. We aim to provide both, a
statement of current expertise and discussions on future prospects
in our field!
We look forward to welcoming you to Hannover!
