NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release The Derry Fire Department was honored to receive two awards at Parkland Medical Centers ‐ Emergency Medical Services Awards and Appreciation Night held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. The first was the Emergency Medical Service of the Year Award for continually demonstrating and exceeding high patient care standards. Also noted was Derry Fire’s strong relationship with Parkland Medical Center and how Derry Fire assisted with Parkland Medical Center’s distinction award of Chest Pain Accreditation by the Society for Cardiovascular Patient Care. The second was the Clinical Excellence for Chest Pain Award. This award was provided to Derry Fire for demonstrating excellent clinical judgement and treatment of Chest Pain patients.
