The Prestigious Purple Flag Derry~Londonderry is one of only four towns in Northern Ireland to be awarded the prestigious Purple Flag award. Purple Flag is the national accreditation scheme for town centres at night. It is the “gold standard” for night time destinations. Like Blue Flag for beaches, places that meet the standards can fly the flag. Purple Flag centres are clean, safe and convivial, with something for everyone. The award of flags is based on an independent assessment undertaken by trained assessors using a rigorous and comprehensive set of standards for the night time economy. Located in the heart of the city mid-way between two of Derry’s most popular theatres, this venue is also a popular spot for pre and après theatre drinks. And, if you love shopping then Badger’s Place is the perfect place to take the weight off your feet mid-spree, situated as it is between Derry’s two largest shopping centres. Serving local fresh produce to suit all tastes. Function rooms also available for large parties of 130 plus.
