Boasting an eye-catching six story tall HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bar,
guests of the flagship HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD attraction are
immersed in a retail experience with more than 800 candy and chocolate
offerings including the brands they love! Located at the New York-New
York Hotel & Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard, the store provides an
amazing HERSHEY’S candy shopping experience with over 13,000 square
feet on two levels.
The challenge was to establish an energetic and bold store that brings
Hershey’s iconic brands to life, plays particularly well with the Las Vegas
adult guest market’s demographic mix and complements the luxury and
sophistication that is a significant part of the Vegas hotel, restaurant and
club context.

m Coy Group was sought out by Hershey‘s design firm during the
development stage because of m Coy Group’s solid experience in retail
candy fixtures and their design thinking approach; as well as a proven
ability to collaborate with retailers and designers to make the vision real.
Working with Hershey’s design team, mCoy Group helped create an
engaging fun space with functional, cost effective fixtures and imaginative
graphics that are integral to the customer’s entertaining journey through
the store – on time and on budget. Among the fixtures completed were:
over sized HERSHEY’S KISSES chocolates, the HERSHEY’S KISSES
Flavor Wall, the JOLLY RANCHERS Candy Flavor Wall, REESE’S Peanut
Butter Cups Plays the Perfect Part Interactive Portico, the HERSHEY’S
Chocolate Photo Bar Wrapper (Wrap Happiness) and a number of custom
specialty fixtures unique to the HERSHEY’S Brand.
The HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD flagship store successfully met
the concept objectives while achieving the operational needs, budget
and schedule of the project. The services m Coy Group provided for the
project included:

•Material sampling, prototyping, testing and fixture mock-ups;
•Budgeting;
•Integrity Based Value Engineering™; and
•Fixture fabrication, logistics and installation support.
