Off to the States
Two Murrumburrah High School athletes have the
opportunity of a life time this week when they venture off
to America to participate in a Cross Country Tour.
Emma Manwaring and Jesse Manwaring will depart
Australia tomorrow morning to compete against students
from American High Schools in a variety of venues
around the Las Vegas area. They will also receive
professional coaching from coaches in America. It’s a
fantastic opportunity and I’m sure you all join me in
wishing Emma and Jesse the best of luck.
Harden Murrumburrah Show
Congratulations to all those students who participated in,
or had their work displayed at the Show last weekend.
The fantastic weather allowed the community to display
its many talents. The local Show Society is to be
congratulated for a successful show.
Have a good holiday
This is the last newsletter for this term. I trust the
holidays go as planned and you take the opportunity
over the break to recharge your batteries and return
ready for a busy Term 4.
School will resume on Tuesday 6th October for staff and
students.
Enjoy

ANU Medical student visit MHS
A team of post-graduate medical students visited MHS
recently to give a talk and interactive workshop to inform
students about university life, how to find accommodation,
scholarships and dispel the myth that it matters what you
study, as any student can move into law or medicine provided
they prove they can study (by maintaining an average of 70%).
As you can see, the Year 10 and Year 12 students thoroughly
enjoyed themselves and the opportunity to try their hands at
plastering.
Do you have an unused
DER
Lenovo
laptop
charger?
If you have an unneeded DER
laptop charger these can be
returned to school for student
use.
