Leaders are
Readers
Travel with the Chamber!
DISCOVER CUBA - November 10-16, 2015
Cuba is untouched by commercialism. The only billboards seen extol the virtues of socialism or
celebrate the long-past revolution and its heroes. No ads entice you to purchase phones, pop
or cars, and there are no popular venues for fast food or coffee. Instead, you’ll experience a step
back in time to learn about Cuba’s history and culture.
Travel with the Mason City Chamber to Cuba November 10-16, 2015, and experience Cuba as it
is today! The Discover Cuba program features Old Havana, the Cathedral de la Havana, Pinar
Del Rio/Vinales, the Franciso Donatien Cigar Factory, Hemingway’s Farm, Vinales Valley, Tobacco
Farm/Family Farmhouse visit, and much more!
Studies show that leaders share a
common characteristic: they are
lifelong learners. Many leaders are
avid readers who turn to books,
newspapers, and periodicals for
professional development and to keep
abreast of industry trends as well
as leisure reading. If you’re looking
for a good read, consider these
recommendations by local leaders:
Sign up for Cuba by May 10th and receive a $100 discount!
• $3,599 per person (double occupancy)
• Round Trip Airfare from Miami (MIA) & First Class Accommodations
• 13 Meals - (5B, 5L, 3D) and daily bottled water

Increase Your Visibility Online!
“People on our website have already made an important decision; they are looking for a
business right here in North Iowa.”
Many members realize the benefit of their membership and the value of targeting the market
already driven to the Chamber’s Online Business Directory. It is about utilizing the web and the
Chamber name to promote your business.
Did you know that all Chamber members begin with a basic package that displays their business
contact information, a brief description, eight keywords, hours of operation and driving directions,
as well as a link to their website/social media site in the Chamber’s Online Business Directory?
Want more visibility? We encourage members to upgrade to the Enhanced Package that has
all the features of the basic package, plus additional web description/text context on search
results, bulleted highlights, expanded business description, company logo, slideshow of photos
or YouTube video, and priority placement over basic listings. This is a great investment for an
additional $100!
Contact Gary or Allyson at the Chamber for more information
regarding these upgrades/opportunities and how to gain
additional, exclusive visibility in front of the Chamber website traffic.
