Welcome to the 24th Annual Bedouin Bazaar. This year, due to economic reasons, I have switched to one day. This allows me to reduce vendor fees. Remember, the vendor fees pay for the facility, so please support them, and “Shop ‘til you drop!” Additionally, the second floor has a swap meet area giving dancers a chance to find some real bargains, so don‛t forget to check it out. Mèsmera and Angelika Nemeth are this year‛s seminar instructors. Fan the Fire with Mèsmera, and set your inner gypsy free. Enjoy Angelika‛s Enriching Your Dance three-hour intensive covering transitions, phrasing, and cultural expressions. There‛s still room in both seminars, don‛t miss the opportunity. Both instructors will be performing with the Bedouin Bazaar Band featuring John Bilezikjian, Dave Dhillon, and Richard Steiger. We are fortunate again this year to have the superb vocalizations and ‘oud playing of John, and the thrilling beats of Dave and Richard. The live music part of the day is from 5:30 to 6:30. The only authorized video recording is by Arnie Larner Productions. Please be respectful to Arnie and Jeanie as they need to make a living, and don‛t video record. You may purchase a copy of your performance suitable for YouTube sharing or just enjoying with friends and family. See the volunteers at the front desk to reserve your copy. Enjoy your day shopping, dancing, learning, and watching the show. Renew old friendships or make new ones. When you get hungry or thirsty, Harry‛s Catering (formerly the Egyptian Tea Room) is located just outside the main entrance. As always, there are tempting sinful desserts as well as healthy, delicious meals. Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day!
