LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hi Lynnwood,
Wow summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye. But with the passing
of the summer season comes the beautiful colors of the fall. Thanks to all who have
continued to keep our ravine area so pristine, what a beautiful area we live in!
With fall now here or just around the corner comes a very busy time of year
in our community. Welcome back to school to the teachers and students of both
Lynnwood Elementary and Our Lady of Victories. To our recent grade 6 students
now off to Junior high we wish you the best of luck!
I am very excited for our upcoming CORN ROAST PARTY; our volunteers
have worked very hard to set up some great events that will be fun for all. To our
new members in the community I personally invite you, your family and friends out
to join us and meet your neighbors, trust me this is not an event you want to miss.
Another Hockey Season is getting underway as we speak. To our Lynnwood
Community Teams I cannot wait to see you on ice and look forward to seeing what
Jill and Cory have planned this year. To our other players at Whitemud West,
Knights of Columbus, Northwest Zone or CAC I wish you all a great and successful
season.
Please Note we still have vacant spots on the Community League Executive
and we are always looking for help with events so please consider getting involved
in your community.
You can email me directly at president@lynnwoodcommunity.com if you have any
questions about the available positions or how you can contribute.
Looking forward to seeing you and your family at the Corn Roast on September 20,
2014!
