Setup Microsoft Office 2003 -2010
Step 1
For Office 2003, XP, 2010 click on Tools, then Email Accounts, for Office 2010 click on file, the
Account Settings, then Account Settings on the sub menu. Click on "New" and and a properties
box will appear.
Step 2
Leave the dot on E-mail Account and click next.
Step 3
Put the dot on "manaully configure server settings or additional server types" and click next.
Step 4
Leave the dot on "Internet E-mail and click next.
Step 5
Type in your name, email address, leave as pop3, your incoming and going servers to
mail.txol.net or whatever your domain is, and then your username and password. Click the
"More Settings" button.
Step 6
Click on the Outgoing Server tab and put a check on "My outoing server(SMTP) requires
authentication". Click on the Advanced tab.
Step 7
If you do not use TXOL Internet as your service provider change the outgoing server port 25 to
366. Click OK, then Next, then Finish to complete the setup.
