Dual power innovation.
Dear readers,
You can see our compact mini-excavator 803 with the
dual power option on the front page. This enables you
to run the excavator completely emission-free using
electric power only in addition to regular operation with
diesel. To achieve this, the external electro-hydraulic
HPU8 drive unit has been attached, without losing
any freedom of movement for the excavator or any
power. The dual drive is available as a factory option
and extends the application areas of the 803 excavator
significantly.
100 % versatility, 0 % emissions:
The excavator 803 dual power.
The dual power option makes it possible to connect an external HPU8 electrohydraulic drive unit to the smallest Wacker Neuson 803 excavator – in addition
to the standard diesel engine. This means that the excavator can be electrically
operated and produces absolutely no emissions. dual power consists of an
HPU8 electro-hydraulic drive unit tuned for excavator operation and the 803
excavator which has been fitted with the dual power option – that is to say the
ability to connect the unit. The connection is made on the undercarriage and is
plug & play. The hydraulic supply to the excavator is done via the undercarriage.
The dual power concept means that unlimited work can be done in normal
operation using the diesel engine, and emission free use using an external
supply provided by the HPU8 electro-hydraulic drive unit.
As only one excavator is needed for both drive types, optimum equipment
utilization can be achieved. The rear pivot radius and the ability to turn through
360-degrees are preserved without limitations. The operating weight, stability
and dimensions are not changed by the option. The excavator's performance
remains unchanged when operating using the drive unit.
The dual power option offers many benefits, in particular for rental companies:
The HPU8 electro-hydraulic drive unit is designed specifically for excavator
operation, is simple to transport and saves space in storage. This innovative
concept is ideal, for example, for demolition and reconstruction work, interior
renovations and for work in particularly sensitive industries like the paper
industry or hospitals as examples.

One of the thematic focuses of this magazine is also
on rental as an alternative or extension to purchasing
machines. Rental fleets are an important target group
for Wacker Neuson, and we work together with many
international partners. Renting companies have particularly high demands in terms of the operator-friendliness,
sturdiness, safety and economy of machines. A nationwide service plays an increasingly important role here
too. More on this on page 14 of the magazine.
In general, our expectations for the overall economic
development in 2014 in the mature markets like Europe
and North America are cautiously positive. We are, however, aiming for significant growth; not least in the Asia,
South America and Eastern Europe areas. A market with
great potential and the country of focus in this magazine
is Russia. Infrastructure is seeing particular investment
here. After the Olympic Games in Sochi, the country is
already preparing for the next big sporting event, the
FIFA World Cup in 2018. In addition to this, there are
a number of energy industry projects and the state is
making heavy investments in the construction of roads,
schools, kindergartens and in social programs. Read
more about Russia's growth potential from page 20.
We hope you enjoy reading.

"We share the same values."
The new 10-ton EW100 mobile excavator is impressive
in terms of its power output, low fuel consumption and
particularly user-friendly functions.
G.S.V. Materieludlejning A/S from Denmark rents
construction equipment and machines. The company was
founded over 100 years ago and employs around 100
staff. "At GSV, we are very happy with Wacker Neuson's
products," said Dan Protin, CEO at G.S.V. "We are
proud to say that we have co-operated successfully with
Wacker Neuson for over 30 years. Both our companies
share the same values such as reliability, safety and
innovation."
The EW100 is the fastest mobile excavator of its class with
a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour. It is fitted
with a Tier IVi engine and therefore at the cutting edge of
technology. Minimized fuel consumption – with savings of
up to 20 percent – is achieved by the new ECO operating
mode. This reduces the speed and adapts the pump to
allow for fuel-efficient work: A plus for both the environment and the wallet.
Last year, G.S.V. ordered 50 compact excavators with the
superstructure tilting Vertical Digging System (VDS) and
a comprehensive range of construction equipment from
Wacker Neuson including vibratory plates, vibratory trench
rollers, rammers and demolition breakers. "Our customers
are very pleased with Wacker Neuson's products. The
machines are good quality," reported Henrik Christensen,
product manager at G.S.V.
Moving quickly with the
EW100 mobile excavator.

distributor in Denmark, Dan O. Protin, MD at G.S.V.,
Henrik B. Christensen, product manager at G.S.V.,
and Cem Peksaglam, CEO Wacker Neuson SE.
A large selection of attachments ensure a wide variety of
application areas. The EW100 mobile excavator is particularly operator-friendly thanks to it having just
one gas pedal–both for road travel as well as when working. A display gives a better general view. With
this, the operator can get a quick overview of the operational status and call up data like the operating
hours. New too is the Jog Dial System, which is known from the automobile industry: Using a turn and
press knob, the menu is operated
simply and intuitively with one hand.
Compatec compaction control
for DPU 5545 and DPU 4545.
EZ38: Zero tail swing,
lots of play.
Tight construction site? Not a problem for the new
3.8 ton EZ38 Zero Tail excavator. The compact machine with
Zero Tail swing is characterized by flexibility in use and a great
deal of maneuverability.
Compact on the outside, spacious on the inside – a combination that the operator will enjoy. The rear of the compact EZ38
excavator never protrudes over the undercarriage.
This means that the excavator can be used with no clearance
from buildings, for example directly next to the house or garden
wall. At the same time, the cabin interior, visibility, safety and
operator comfort remain priorities. Particularly comfortable: The
foot well of the excavator can also be expanded thanks to the
fold-down accelerator pedals.
Wacker Neuson expands the range of vibratory plates which can be fitted with
the Compatec compaction control to include the DPU 4545 and DPU 5545
models. Compatec is a good visual aid, in particular for users who only
occasionally work with vibratory plates, which saves valuable working time. The
display can be understood at a glance. Eight LED lamps light up while moving
to indicate the relative compaction progress of the ground. When the number
of illuminated LED's no longer increases, then no further compaction can be
achieved with the unit in use. An additional function is the overload display if
the unit is operated on too hard a soil. The operator is notified of this through
rapid flashing of all eight LED's. A simple, but efficient system, which is used to
protect the machine.
Wacker Neuson's Compatec is characterized by its ease of use and
sturdiness. All sensitive electronic systems are mounted to the upper mass
where they are exposed to fewer strong vibrations. This is a real benefit that
only Wacker Neuson offers. The system therefore operates very reliably and
fault-free. Compatec is available for the vibratory plates DPU 6555, DPU 5545
and DPU 4545. Further information can be found at www.wackerneuson.com/

New trade fair: Bauma Africa.
The first Wacker Neuson telehandler
sold in the UK.
The first TH625 telehandler was sold by the dealer SM Plant
Sales to Tompkins Construction in Rugby, England. The
excellent power output in a compact unit of less than two
meters in both width and height was the decisive factor for
the 6 meter telehandler. "We had been thinking of purchasing a compact telehandler for some time, after we had rented
one last year. For a current project the investment made
financial sense," CEO Andy Tompkins explained. Tompkins
Construction was founded 20 years ago. The company
employs 25 staff and already has some telehandlers with
a reach of 14 meters. Tompkins was then awarded two
contracts which, due to space restrictions, meant that a more compact machine was
needed. This lead to the decision to purchase the telehandler from Wacker Neuson.
The first Bauma Africa took place in September 2013 in Johannesburg
and had more than 750 exhibitors from 38 countries. At Bauma Africa
Wacker Neuson presented a selection of its wide product portfolio including
the "Value Rammer" a new rammer specially designed for the African market.
"Since this rammer was introduced we have experienced great demand
without reducing the sales of our premium rammer," explained Eugene
Brown, Regional President Wacker Neuson Africa. "We are particularly proud
of the new air filter system on the rammer. This is able to filter out the very
fine dust found in Africa."
With the introduction of the new rammer, Wacker Neuson supported the local
project "Unite Against Poaching" with a donation to the volunteer organization South African National Parks Honorary Rangers who are campaigning
against poaching and for the protection of rhinos in Africa.

BICES 2013 in Beijing:
"The market in Asia is becoming
increasingly important."
The Netherlands:
Wide range of products, one brand.
Since 2014, all Wacker Neuson brand products have been sold in the
Netherlands by its own branch. This also includes the telehandlers and
articulated wheel loaders. Wacker Neuson's customers can therefore
obtain the whole range of products from internal vibrators to wheel
loaders, as well as service, advice, used and rental machines from one
source.
"Wacker Neuson has been represented in Benelux for more than 50
years. It therefore follows that we should now distribute the entire
product range, including articulated wheel loaders here in the Netherlands too. In Belgium and Luxembourg we offer the Wacker Neuson
wheel loader for sale since the middle of 2013 and our customers often
ask about these products," Lambert Berends, CEO of Wacker Neuson
BV explained.
The Wacker Neuson wheel loader series offers the right machine for
every use. The series consists of eight machines with shovel capacity
of 0.2 to 0.95 cubic meters.
The Wacker Neuson team on the trade fair
booth at BICES 2013.
Wacker Neuson used the BICES trade fair in Beijing to present the
construction equipment developed for the Chinese market. This included
compaction equipment, generators, pumps and lighting systems. "Along
with competitive prices, customer advice, customer service and excellent
spare parts availability are the most important issues for our Asian customers," Cem Peksaglam said, CEO of Wacker Neuson SE. "These are the
points we will concentrate on as the Asian market is becoming ever more
important for the Wacker Neuson Group." Shortly, Wacker Neuson will also
distribute compact machines in Asia. The 6003 excavator was presented
at the BICES trade fair and will be available within the first half of 2014 in
China. Wacker Neuson has been established in China for over 15 years
with its own sales organization and service partners and has branches in
Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
New: Regional President Greater China
On November 1, 2013, David Wei took up his
appointment as Regional President Greater China
at Wacker Neuson. David Wei is very familiar
with construction machines and the construction
equipment area in China and brings many years of
experience in this area with him. In his new function with Wacker Neuson, David Wei will look after
all sales-related matters in Hong Kong, China,
Mongolia and Taiwan.

What are your tasks at Wacker Neuson
and what is your background?
"I started my career as a construction machine mechanic and quickly realized that
customer contact was very enjoyable to me. I decided to start a business studies
course. Then I spent two years at a major construction machine manufacturer, ending up as the head of the used machine department. So that I could focus more on
sales again, I moved in 2008 to become a sales person for the Ile-de-France region
with Wacker Neuson. What inspires me most is the contact with the customers. It is
important for a long-term and good co-operation to maintain a close relationship. In
addition, I value the team spirit here very much as all areas of the company are equally
important. We can only get customer satisfaction with good co-operation.
Preferably, I spend my spare time with my family where I find the necessary balance to
my working life. I enjoy good films and am a rugby and motorcycle enthusiast. In addition, I really enjoy visiting the theater. I have played in various groups myself for nine
years and appreciate the team spirit, the stage fright and the excitement which improve
your performance before getting on the stage."

For rent.
As a manufacturer, wacker Neuson takes the customers' requirements in terms of
the economic efficiency, robustness, safety and user-friendliness into account as
early as during the product development stage. wacker Neuson knows the particular requirements for rental products from its close co-operation with rental firms.
Customers from other industries can also benefit from this.
The economic efficiency of a machine is not just
defined by its acquisition cost. Under the heading of
"Total Cost of Ownership", further relevant factors
like service life, maintenance costs and servicing
frequency are considered. The machines made by
Wacker Neuson are particularly low-maintenance
and service-friendly. They are designed so that the
service access of the machines is as easily accessible as possible. If maintenance is required, this
can often be done quickly and practically directly
on-site. As an example, with Wacker Neuson's
excavators and wheel loaders, the cab can be
tipped so that the components underneath are
freely accessible for the required maintenance work.
Wacker Neuson's extensive service coverage also
guarantees the rapid availability of spare parts, even
for older models. This means that machines can be
brought back into use quickly. For rental companies
this is an important criterion as they always have the
machine utilization in mind.
There are, however, other factors which play a major
role. The machines should, for example, be particularly user-friendly, so that the occasional operator
can quickly work with it. For the vibratory plates,
as an example, the compaction control Compatec
provides this with its simple, but efficient LED
indicator. The number of LEDs illuminated shows
the compaction progress, all the LEDs flash quickly
if there is an overload situation. This can prevent
damage to the machine. Wacker Neuson's compact
machines are also characterized by their uncomplicated and intuitive operation. As an example,
the new EW100 mobile excavator is fitted with an
intuitive jog-dial menu controller and only one pedal
for driving and also for working. This makes it easier
for less-experienced operators to use the machine.
In addition, the large selection of attachments for
wheel loaders, telehandlers, compact loaders and
excavators is also important for rental companies.
The more diverse and specialized attachments
available mean that the products are more tailoredto-suit and therefore more efficient and versatile.
Dual power for
emissions-free use.
Wacker Neuson has an interesting solution in the
form of the new dual power concept for emissionsfree use. This consists of the 803 excavator with
the dual power option consisting of an HPU8
electro-hydraulic drive unit specially keyed inhouse for excavator operation. As an alternative to
conventional operation using the diesel engine, the
operator connects the drive unit to the excavator
simply (Plug & Play) with the dual power option, and
the machine can operate emission-free.
The solution gives many advantages for companies
and rental firms. Just one machine is needed for both
drive types, meaning that the machine utilization is
optimized. This is because, when the excavator is no
longer needed for use indoors, it can be fully utilized
using its diesel engine. By integrating the hydraulic
supply via the undercarriage of the excavator, the tail
swing radius and the possibility for turning through
360 degrees in electrical mode are fully retained; the
device's diameters and center of gravity are also not
changed. The 803 excavator is the smallest model
made by Wacker Neuson. With its narrow width of
just 700 millimeters, it is good for renovation and
demolition work in buildings as the operator can drive
through doors or into lifts without any problems.
The rubber tracks of the excavator do not leave any
damage on floors. When the excavator has arrived at
its place of use, the hydraulically activated telescopic
undercarriage can be extended in seconds to an
external width of 860 mm giving greater stability.
The dual power 803 excavator can be typically used
in remodeling work and rehabilitation in sensitive
areas like hospitals. If a wing of the building should
be rehabilitated, while business continues as normal
in the other part of the building, emission-free
and low-noise work is particularly important. The
mini-excavator with the dual power option is best
equipped for applications of this kind.

The EH 100 electric demolition
breaker: high performance
category, low cost.
If you need a demolition breaker of the highest
performance category, up until now you had to use
a heavy (at least 40 kg) pneumatic breaker along
with a compressor and the corresponding transport
vehicle. With Wacker Neuson's EH 100 electric
demolition breaker, rental companies can now offer
their customers a significantly more convenient
solution: With the same demolition capacity, the
sturdy and ergonomic breaker weighs in at around
10 kg less. The EH 100 weighs 32 kg meaning that it
can be transported easily.
It is ready for use in no time on site–without any
complex assembly or laying down compressed
air hoses. Simply connect the plug and start
work–thanks to the low hand-arm vibration (HAV)
levels of less than 5 m/s², it is also possible to work
through a full eight-hour workday. If there is no
power supply on site, a generator in the size class
of the Wacker Neuson GV 7000 provides a mobile
power source. The breaker and the generator can
be transported in a car without needing a trailer.
Another advantage: For those sites where there is
no space for a compressor, or where the compressor cannot be used due to dust formation, the
transfer of vibrations to sensitive building parts or
in proximity to explosive hazardous materials, the
EH 100 can be used.
Telematics:
the machine is always in view.
Machine locating systems are particularly popular especially
with rental companies. Using Wacker Neuson Telematics, you
can check via mobile phone or PC if a machine is actually in
use, where it is currently located and if it is moving at more
than 15 km per hour. A log can be called up and, if desired, you
can be informed about pending maintenance by SMS or e-mail.
Moreover, the Geofence function serves as theft prevention.
If the construction machine leaves a defined area, the system
immediately alerts the owner. This type of machine monitoring is
becoming increasingly important particularly for rental companies. Wacker Neuson's system is available ex factory and also as
a retrofit kit. It can also be fitted to other brands. Find out more
at: www.wackerneuson.com/telematic
The electric breaker is also very robust and not
susceptible to dirt accumulation. The EH 100 is
fully functional where compressed air systems are
extremely sensitive and affected by dusty air and the
entry of dirt particles. A maintenance-free asynchronous motor as well as a maintenance-free, extremely
sturdy hollow piston percussion system saves effort
and costs for maintenance and repairs.
20 years of Wacker Neuson
in Poland and the Czech Republic.
This is a reason to celebrate and a good time to mark the development

Russia: Rapid development, major
sporting events and investment
into infrastructure.
The Winter Olympics were held in Sochi, Russia in Februar y this year. The FIFA
World Cup will take place in Russia in 2018. As part of this, the government
is investing heavily in the expansion of the infrastructure. However, there are
other large projects which will take place in the coming years. This development
affects the growth of the construction industr y in Russia and the countries in the
Customs Union between Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. It is also of note for
Wacker Neuson in the form of an increasing amount of demand.

Russia is a growth market where the next years will
see billions invested in infrastructure measures such
as the construction of roads, airports, railways, the
expansion of power, waste and water management,
in the construction of public buildings like schools,
universities or hospitals as well as the expansion of
networks for telecommunications. Wacker Neuson
has been able to achieve very positive sales
developments in Russia over recent years. The
group will continue to benefit from the growth of the
Russian construction industry.

most important trade fair as a large trade audience
can be presented with new and proven products
and solutions. The trade fair has around 12,000
trade visitors each year. It provides an excellent opportunity to show the versatile application areas of
the construction equipment and compact machines
as well as the service Wacker Neuson offers. The
trade fair also helps to recruit new distributors.
"Significant growth and development areas are to
be found over the coming years particularly in the
north and south-west regions of Russia. Central
Russia too will continue to develop in a stable
way and Siberia as well as the Far East will also
not just play a small part," is the assessment of
Vladimir Terentyev, managing director of the Russian
Wacker Neuson affiliate. Major sporting events
like the Winter Olympics in Sochi on the Black
Sea and the Krasnodar region as well as the FIFA
World Cup in 2018 are also driving the expansion
of the infrastructure. Construction equipment from
Wacker Neuson was also used in the preparations
for the games in Sochi. "The Olympic site was one
of the largest construction projects of the last four
years," said Vladimir Terentyev. "Many construction
companies were involved in the project, both
domestic and foreign. Internal vibrators for concrete
compaction, machines for compaction, lighting
systems and pumps from Wacker Neuson were
in use." For future major projects there is also
much potential for the construction equipment and
compact machines from the group.
The compact loader range from Wacker Neuson will
be introduced in Russia in 2014. The four models:
501, 701, 901, and 1101, have a comprehensive
basic equipment. Individual customer requirements
can be met using a variety of options. The standard
universal quick-change system gives great flexibility
and productive work processes meaning that you
can quickly adapt the compact loader to different
uses. The compact loaders will be presented to the
public for the first time in Russia at the CT T trade
fair in June 2014.
This trade fair is an important event for the construction industry in Russia and the customs union
every year. For the Wacker Neuson affiliate, it is the
Between June 3 - 7, 2014 the 15th International Show of

earth-moving machines, construction machines, machines
and plant for cement and concrete production, construction
equipment, pumps and compressors, lifting and handling tools,
accessories and spare parts.

Tell us something about the road
shows which you present in Russia.
Over recent years, the Russian
market has developed quickly. We are
currently seeing the process of a new
industrialization of the country. Small
and large industrial and agricultural
companies are being newly established.
The state continues to invest in
large infrastructure projects. In 2018,
the FIFA World Cup takes place in Russia. It will be held in 13 cities across the
country. In the next five years, 15 power
plants and thousands of kilometers of
track for high-speed trains will be built
in Russia. The state is also investing
heavily in the construction of roads,
schools and kindergartens as well as
in social programs. This is naturally
making impacts on the growth of the
construction industry in Russia and the
countries in the Customs Union between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Accordingly, we are seeing a large and
increasing demand across practically all
of the Wacker Neuson product range.
The product segments with particular
demand are concrete technology,
soil compaction equipment, compact
excavators and wheel loaders. Surface
and concrete heaters as well as heating
and lighting systems are also playing
an important role as winter lasts almost
half a year in Russia.
Regardless of the size of Russia,
Wacker Neuson regularly holds road
shows to present customers and
prospective customers with its various
products. This requires the focus of
all resources from the company as we
sometimes have to travel 5,000 km to
reach a city where we would like to
present our products. Such events are
planned in conjunction with our dealers
and we make a point to visit several
cities in a region. In November 2013,
we presented our heating equipment
and air dehumidifiers in several cities in
Siberia and the Urals.

Interview with Vladimir Terentyev,
Managing director, Wacker Neuson Russia.
At that time I was working for a Russian trading
company and was looking for a reliable supplier
of compacting technology. I wrote an e-mail to
Wacker Neuson and received an answer within
30 minutes and a draft co-operation agreement
shortly afterwards. The co-operation started
in this way.
In 2004, I got the offer to start a Wacker Neuson
branch in Russia and to head it up. I
have now been the managing director for
Wacker Neuson's affiliate in Moscow for the last
nine years.
What is Wacker Neuson's market
position in Russia?
Wacker Neuson is very well
positioned in the concrete technology,
soil compaction and lighting system
divisions. The compact machine branch
in Russia is still in its infancy. Each year
the sales numbers increase, and we are
taking part in this growth.
Thank you for the interview.

Emissions are discharged using the 803
dual power mini-excavator when running
using the HPU8 electro-hydraulic drive unit.
why has wacker Neuson developed a
dual drive with an external drive unit?
what is the make up of
the dual power option?
Devices with zero-emissions are
mainly used in enclosed spaces and are
normally small and agile. The machines
must reach their point of use through
narrow doors and be very maneuverable
in use. In multi-floor buildings, low
ground pressure is highly important due
to the floor load.
The dual power option consists of
the 803 compact excavator into which
the corresponding hydraulic connection
options are installed for connection of
the electro-hydraulic drive unit HPU8.
The drive unit can thus be connected
to the undercarriage of the excavator in
just a few steps.
Based on these requirements we
developed a concept whereby the machine’s dimensions remain unchanged,
the machine’s weight remains as
constant as possible, and the machine's
handling is not adversely affected by
changing the center of gravity or its
working movements.
why is the option interesting
for rental companies?
This produced the dual power
concept, which is available as an
option on the 803 mini-excavator. In
emission-free operation, it is driven
by the HPU8 electro-hydraulic unit.
In order to transport the drive unit as
simply as possible, the HPU8 unit can
be suspended into two holes on the
dozer blade. In this way, the operator
can drive using conventional operation
to the place of use taking the drive unit
along.
The range of uses for the smallest Wacker Neuson 803 excavator
is significantly increased by the
dual power option as the equipment can
be used in conventional diesel mode
without restrictions and can also be
used in situations where only emissionfree work is possible. This greater
flexibility in use means that the machine
is utilized more. Companies which only
occasionally perform emission-free work
and have a 803 dual power excavator
can simply rent the HPU8 drive unit as
and when needed. The HPU8 unit can
be used with all 803 excavators fitted
with the dual power option.

Günter Gosselk GmbH & Co. is a machine rental company based in Tostedt near
Hamburg. It rents wacker Neuson products by preference. Quality at a good price,
simple operation and fast service are just a few reasons why
the Gosselk brothers rely on wacker Neuson.
"Since we started rentals in 2008,
we have relied upon Wacker Neuson."
Wernt Gosselk, managing director
"Everyone in Tostedt knows that you
can rent the yellow machines at Gosselk. It is not a surprise that we have
relied upon Wacker Neuson machines
and equipment since we started rentals
in 2008," explained Wernt Gosselk, one
of the managing directors at Gosselk
machinery rentals based in Tostedt
near Hamburg. The rental depot is
conveniently situated on a crossroads.
He adds: "Whoever is waiting for the
traffic light, can also see the yellow
construction machines and equipment.
Wacker Neuson's yellow contributes to
our market recognition."
After the brothers Arnd and Wernt

machines from Wacker Neuson from
the previous company which they took
over with them. Wacker Neuson was
able to win the contract when a tender
was issued for four machines. "This
was mainly due to the good priceperformance ratio," said Wernt Gosselk.

private rental customers are always
surprised how economical the machines
are," explained the Gosselk brothers.
The Gosselk brothers focused deliberately on the compact class. "The
range of uses for compact machines
is virtually limitless," reported Arnd
Gosselk. "We also offer trailer rentals
and transport of the machines. A further
ground why we only procure machines
up to three tons in weight: They can
be transported using SUVs." The rental
customers are mainly private users who
rent the equipment for their construction site or garden. The mini-excavator

WL 30 wheel loaders are particularly in
demand," said Wernt Gosselk. "The WL

being a bit like a toy. However, when the
wheel loader has been used once, all
users are impressed by its performance,
as it has lots of power when it comes
down to it."

To prepare the track for the motorcycles, various
Wacker Neuson machines were used. The manysided track was made from clay soil. As well as
three excavators–from three to seven tons–a WL

Career day at Wacker Neuson.
Wacker Neuson held the 12th career day for
family-run businesses at their group headquarters
in Munich. For the first time on the presentation
area, consisting of a total of 30 leading family-run
businesses from across Germany, a separate area
was created just for the engineers from around 600
accredited candidates. The aim of the recruiting

Entrepreneurs Club, leading family-run businesses
and the Familienunternehmen ins Leben Foundation,
was to present family-run businesses as an
attractive employer.
Tailor-made
finance solutions.
The Wacker Neuson Group customers
from all sectors of the industry are
increasingly resorting to financing offers
in order to retain their liquidity despite
major investments. A high percentage of
all new machines in the compact equipment range and also of construction
equipment is already being financed
today. To be able to advise customers
on attractive funding opportunities, the
Wacker Neuson Group sealed a worldwide collaboration deal with De Lage
Landen (DLL), a specialized provider
of object-related financing solutions, in
July 2013.
"There are many reasons that speak
for financing machines and equipment," says Cem Peksaglam, CEO of
Wacker Neuson SE. "One important
reason is the reduced burden on our
customers' liquidity. Financing machines
has become very attractive due to very
good conditions as well as fast and
uncomplicated processing. The high
quality standard and long service life
of Wacker Neuson's products support
optimal rates with minimal risk."
Hire purchase, rent and leasing, as
examples, are included in the finance
solutions on offer. Especially for small
and medium-sized operations, the
procurement of a compact machine
is no small investment. Professional
advice and flexible financing options
are therefore all the more important.
Through global co-operation agreements, not just with DLL but also with
other financial service providers, which
have been concluded in the markets in
which customers ask for it, the provision
of financial services for dealers and
customers will be strengthened across
the globe. Wacker Neuson has decided
to co-operate with experts because
they bring the necessary industry
knowledge and have the relevant
experience and a local presence. This
means that dealers and customers have
access to flexible and individual finance
solutions. Customers in China will also
soon be able to have financial solutions
provided by DLL.
