email on Nokia 7650
Requirements:
• A valid ø account, with a subscription to Mobile Web
• A Nokia 7650
• An active POP3 email account and your email
provider settings (see Page 8).
Steps to complete:
1. Set up ø Mobile Web
2. Set up your email account.
1. Setting up ø Mobile Web
This step may not be necessary if your phone already has a data account called O2 Mobile Web –
if it does, go to step 2.
1. Press the Menu
key on the
bottom left of
your phone.
Select Tools.
2. Select Settings.
Select
Connection.
Select Access
points.
3. Press the left
key for Options
(just above
the joystick).
A menu will
be displayed.
Select New
access point.
4. Select
Use default
settings.
5. Enter the
following in the
relevant fields:

address: leave as

Web data account
has been created.

Messaging.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select E-mail.
5. Select Open.
6. If this is the
first mailbox you
are creating on
your phone, you
will be asked this
question.
7. Enter a mailbox
name, a name that
is meaningful to
you.
8. Choose
O2 Mobile WEB.
Select Access point
in use.
Select Yes.

POP3 email access is not provided by
AOL. To use AOL email open Internet
Explorer and visit http://www.aol.co.uk
(NOT www.aol.com) and login as usual.
A separate POP3 password is required.
Visit www.demon.net, click on Web
Password,then a Web Password Service
option,choose a security version, sign in,
clickMail, click Enabled in the ‘POP3
mail’ box, enter your new POP3
password, then click Apply.
Note that username is the part of the
email address that follows the ‘@’
POP3 email access is not provided by FSmail.
To use FSmail open Internet Explorer and
visit http://fsmail.freeserve.com and
login as usual.
Use full email address for ‘username’
Username format is user ID (allocated by ISP)
POP3 email access is not provided by Hotmail.
To use Hotmail open Internet Explorer and
visit http://mobile.msn.com and login
as usual.
