Whenever Wednesdays are a series of public programs that complement the exhibitions on view and invite the public to share in the experience, interpretation and understanding of the work of established and emerging artists. The Bridge: Cinema de Lux 4012 Walnut Street, 215-386-3300 University City’s state-of-the-art movie theater blends entertainment and technology. The Bridge features wall-to-wall screens, Dolby DIGITAL EX Surround Sound®, stadium seating, and a media room with six plasma screens creating a visual multi-media art gallery, featuring award winning short subjects, behind the scenes look at popular films and anticipated movie trailers. We also know where to find the best happy hours and best spots to watch the game! Fiume (229 S. 45th Street), Dock Street (701 S. 50th Street) and the White Dog Café (3420 Sansom Street) made the cut on Philadelphia Weekly’s “Philly’s Top 50 Bars” list.
