From the Administrator:
My dear friends in Christ,
I have returned from the Priest Convocation held in
Galloway Township, to the north of Atlantic City.
This weekend we are pleased to have Gabriella Furmato
with us to speak about Domestic Church Media, a nonprofit, Catholic Lay Apostolate rooted in the history,
tradition, and practice of the Catholic faith, dedicated to
proclaiming Jesus Christ in the New Springtime of the
Church.
Gabriella began her work with DCM in 2012 as a
volunteer who hosted her own weekly radio program for
young people, "Everything Is Grace. She is also the coHost of "TGI Friday LIVE!", as well as Segment Producer
and Engineer. Gabriella has been active in Young Adult
Ministry, is a Catechist, and holds a Masters Degree in
Theology from my alma mater, Immaculate Conception
Seminary at Seton Hall University in South Orange. She
is a veteran of World Youth Days in Sydney, Australia
and Madrid, Spain. She has a wonderful rapport with
adolescents and young adults, but also appeals to more
"seasoned" Catholics because of her genuine love for
Our Lord and her Catholic Faith. We Welcome Gabriella
to Corpus Christi Parish.
I would encourage you to mark Wednesday, October
12th on your calendar as we will hold an evening of Taize
Prayer for peace in the world at Corpus Christi Church.
The service will include candlelight, prayer, silence,
Scripture, and Taize music. Please consult the bulletin
announcement for more details.
May God Bless You All!

TAIZE PRAYER FOR PEACE
Wednesday, October 12, 2016, 7:00 to 8:00 PM
Come and experience a night of Taize Prayer with Father
John. The service includes candlelight, prayer, silence,
Scripture and Taize music.
In the busy world we live in, we need more and more to
feed ourselves on the spiritual rock, which is Christ himself.
The prayer tradition of Taize, based on the monastic hours
of prayer each day, can help us to let go of our
preoccupations and get in touch with spiritual realities. We
utilize this opportunity to pray for peace in our world.
Please come and join us.
