It is that time of year again, when we are all busy with school, homework, sports, school activities, hunting, working, watching football, not to mention our day to day responsibilities, and getting ready for that bitter cold and white stuff that is inevitably headed our way. Well, here at the Oyster Ridge BOCES we are well into the school semesters at New Frontier High School, Kemmerer High School and Western Wyoming Community College. We have thirteen Dual Enrollment Students each taking at least one college level class. The Dual Enrollment Program is where a student can enroll in a college class and get college and high school credit at the same time. The Dual Enrollment Students are enrolled in online classes that are approved by the high school and the BOCES. In the spring there will be around twenty students taking advantage of our Concurrent Program at the high school. The Concurrent Program is where a student can enroll in a high school class and get high school and college credit at the same time, and their classes are located at the high school. We are very excited to have these students taking advantage of these opportunities that we are very fortunate to offer. If you have questions about Dual or Concurrent classes please see Ms. Ferrarini at Kemmerer High School or Jennifer at the BOCES in the Burgoon Building. We hope everyone as a great fall!
