Nantucket Race Week Silent Auction

Jetties Sailing Center Closed for Pops Concert
The Jetties Sailing Center will be closed beginning at 12pm on Friday, August 8th
for the Boston Pops concert and will reopen at 9am on Sunday, August 10th.
Off-Island Regatta Reports - Opti and 420 Race Teams
Wianno Opti Regatta - From Coaches Cam Chafee and Cat Pelo - On Wednesday and Thursday,
July 23rd and 24th, the All-Island Opti Race Team traveled to Osterville to sail in the Wianno
Opti Regatta. After practicing at the venue on Tuesday afternoon, the team competed on
Wednesday and Thursday- alongside over 85 other Optis in the Championship Fleet and 65 in
the Green Fleet. Congrats to our sailors: Gigi

(Champ); Mac Dilatush 67/89 (Champ); Scott
Yenor 23/89 (Champ) and Annecy Kagan 17/64
(Green).
Gill Women's 420 Regatta - From Coach Caroline
Patten - On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 22nd
and 23rd, Olivia Van den born and Indiana Sobol
sailed in the Southern Massachusetts Sailing
Association Junior Women's Doublehanded
Championship - the Gill Trophy. Held this year at
Dennis Yacht Club, Olivia and Indy sailed an
excellent event, placing 4th out of 36 boats.
