Fire-Dex Custom FX-R Gear
FX™ gear has been redesigned to be unlike anything else on the market. The new FX-R coat
has less fabric, weighs less, and allows for a better range of motion.
The new, patent-pending OmniDex Cut has moved the shoulder-sleeve interface inward
to the natural bend-point of the shoulder. Moving the shoulder inward has revolutionized
the way the coat moves with the body. The weight of the coat is no longer lifted when the
wearer lifts their arms. Because the coat is no longer being lifted by the wearer, the air pack
is also able to stay in its proper place and not be shoulder-pressed when reaching upward.
The OmniDex Cut has also dramatically reduced the rise of the coat when reaching as well.
This revolutionary cut has created a coat that moves like the human body does, eliminating
the need for a back pleat and reducing the size of the sleeve pipe; this has reduced bulk, the
amount of fabric, and therefore weight of the coat too.

FX-R Collar has a pleat in the shell fabric for a more secure fit while still allowing for a
seamless moisture barrier and is NFPA compliant without a throat strap, allowing for

Fire-Dex Custom Proximity Gear
Quality construction continues throughout all Fire-Dex® products. Fire-Dex Proximity Gear uses
lock-stitch construction on all seams to ensure strong seams that won’t unravel if one stitch is
broken. Collars are made with four layers to ensure maximum protection about the neck area, and
cuffs and knees have reinforced stitching to improve the longevity and durability of the product.
Fire-Dex Proximity Gear is compliant to NFPA 1971, current edition, ensuring that your garment
provides the mandated comfort and safety requirements.
Features
Coats are available in Assault™ style in 28”, 32”, or 35” length, as well as in FX™ style
(custom length also available)
Pants are available in Assault™ style, with or without rear panel, as well as FX™ style, with
or without rear panel.
Outer shell available in 7 oz. aluminized PBI®/Kevlar® and 10 oz. aluminized armid twill.
