She has worked closely with the TVA community for the past 12 years while serving Alyssa Ashley Marketing as Office Manager for the Plumbers & Pipefitters International Representative. Alyssa is a graduate of both UNA and Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she majored in Marketing. We would like to welcome Lindsay to the TVACU family. Lindsay w i l l s e r ve a s fulltime teller at the Sheffield branch. As a graduate of the Lindsay Powell U n ive r s i t y o f Full-time Teller North Alabama, Lindsay received a double major in Management and Marketing. While in college, Lindsay participated in many organizations, including Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. Carolyn comes to TVACU with nearly 34 years in the financial industry, most recently as Staff Development Manager at Georgia Federal Credit Carolyn Conway Chief Operating Officer Union in Atlanta, GA. Prior to this, Carolyn served as Business Consultant with CUNA Mutual Group. During 15 of her 23 years in branch operations, Carolyn served as Branch Manager for America’s First FCU in Birmingham and Southtrust Bank in Atlanta. Recently, two of our employees, Anita Martin, Debit Card Administrator and Nellie Eggleston, Vice President – Card Services attended a conference in Nashville, TN concerning Risk Management when dealing with Debit Card fraud or compromise. This issue is prominent in today’s financial environment and proper training is essential. “Knowledge is the key,” Nellie explains. “Keeping your front line well-informed is crucial. The National Endowment for Financial Education , NEFE, Program is a financial education program that is taught to area high-school seniors in an effort to teach them solid financial decision-making skills. The Choices Program is presented to 8th graders in area schools and is designed to motivate and inspire children to strive for excellence in all areas of life. Several TVA Credit Union employees and members of our Board of Directors are presenters of these programs within our school system in an effort to ensure the success of coming generations.
