Always be prepared to give an answer...
for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15
The Retreat
So glad you are considering Women’s Retreat. Our theme
this year is “God’s Glory through Our Story.” As we pray
and plan it is our desire that each of you will see how God’s
Glory can show through your story. We are excited about our
speaker, Kathy Howard, and what God will prepare for her to
share with all of us. Sign up and bring a friend or two. It will be
well worth it. We look forward to our time with you at Women’s
Retreat.
On-Site Activities
• Hiking Trails – beautiful streamside trails among the
redwoods and ferns. Excellent additional hiking available
in adjacent state parks.
• Fitness Center – a fully equipped center is available for retreat guests.
Sincerely,
Pam Brown & DeDe Davis
• Mt Hermon Bookstore – great books, clothing, cards, gifts, pictures, music, and more.
Retreat Coordinators
Unshakable Faith for Life
Kathy helps women live an unshakeable faith for life by
encouraging them to stand firm on our rock-solid God
no matter the circumstances of life. The author of seven
books, including five Bible studies, Kathy has a Masters in
Christian Education and a certificate in Women’s Ministry.
She has been teaching the Bible for over 25 years and
speaks regularly at women’s retreats and events.
Kathy and her husband live in the Houston area and have
three grown children, two sons-in-law, one grandson, and
two more grandbabies on the way! When the family gets
together there are also five dogs in the mix. Find out
about her books and speaking ministry at her website:

Our Speaker: Kathy Howard
Kathy Howard calls herself a “confused southerner.” Raised in
Louisiana, she has moved with her
engineer husband around the U.S. and Canada. She says “pop” instead
of “Coke” and “you guys” as often as “ya’ll.” But those things are just superficial – she’s still a southern girl at heart!

• Towels & bedding supplied for all rooms.
• Prices include retreat program, lodging, and 6 meals
(Friday dinner – Sunday lunch).
