These are split up in different subjects, illustrated with photographs. The report also gives you a summary of SCF finances in 2006. The board of SCF India likes to take this opportunity to thank all her volunteers, donors and sponsors for their financial and moral support. Without them we would not have been able to complete all our activities. Every donor, volunteer and sponsor receives a digital copy of the annual report. It will also be available for others on the SCF website (www.scfindia.com). handicraft project 2006 has been the year of further deve- Communication through email and tele- lopment of the Handicraft ladies and the phone was not that good what caused SCF products. SCF decided Andhari Tiger Reserve. to find a new employee during the visit in January 2007. In September 2006 a student from the van Hall Larenstein University at Wageningen contacted SCF, she was looking for an internship. After consulting it turned out that a this request did fit perfectly with both the SCF Education Project and her studies. The University indicated that they would only give their consent to an internship if there was a co-operation with an organisation in India! Another issue that will be solved during the visit of SCF board members in January 2007. education project Of course we did have plans made for the Education Project even though the project was put on hold for the time being. That made it possible to enter SCF India in the sponsor round of Medtronic at Arnhem. Employees from this company could present their request for an organisation they personally are involved with. Paul van Veldhuizen entered his request on behalf of SCF India which resulted in a cheque of € 2000.- donated by Medtronic! SCF India also handed in a funding request to the City of Deventer. They approved and granted us an amount of € 1188.-. The reason to use both requests for our Education Project was that we decided to give the Project priority in 2007 and to make sure it will have a solid start. activities MARKETS & EVENTS In 2006 SCF was present at as much markets and events as possible to raise money for all our activities. This creates extra sale-opportunities for our products to become more widely known and recruit volunteers to join SCF India. We were present at two big markets in Zutphen and the Ronak Mela event in Amsterdam. Of course we put in a lot of effort to sell amongst friends and family.
