The Gadabouts
Thank you to everyone who has
renewed their membership for 2016!
We appreciate each of you and know
you value all the great programs that
FiftyForward Madison Station has to
offer. If you have a question about when
your membership expires, just ask us at
the front desk. Remember, just $10 per
month gives you access to everything
we offer: from health and fitness classes
to our fabulous day trips. Don’t miss a
day at Madison Station, and Happy
New Year!!
The Gadabouts’ goal is to plan new and
unique trips on a quarterly basis. This new
travel group was responsible for the Ave
Maria Grotto trip in November.
Are you interested in helping to plan
fun adventures for our Center? Join The
Gadabouts at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday,
January 6th to plan a trip for the month of
February. Bring your suggestions to the
meeting and we’ll vote on our favorite.
When dreaming up your wonderful ideas,
bear in mind that we stick close to the
Center in the winter months due to
possible cold-weather conditions. We’ll
see you soon to plan
some fun!
Holiday Closings
Trip Etiquette
Happy New Year!
Please keep in
mind that the
Center will be
closed on
Friday, January
1st to celebrate the
New Year as well as
on Monday, January
18th in observation
of Martin Luther
King, Jr. Day.
We hope to see you here soon!
Kelsey Mahaffey
T3, or Trippin’ Third Thursdays,
launches on Thursday, January 21st!
Please check out the inside of the back
page for new trip policy info. We’d also
like to mention a few guidelines to help
make trips as pleasant as possible for all
involved.
Easily hot in the summer? Consider
sitting in the front . Hot in winter? Try
the back. We do our best to regulate the
heat. Choosing a seat which will help you
remain comfortable will boost everyone’s
happiness level. Wearing removable
layers is also a good idea.
Also, please remember to take your trash
with you as you exit the bus. Thank you!
