YOU ARE INVITED! “Dusty Shoe” Walk-Thru Friday, April 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Have you noticed the changing scenery while driving by the Marian Home? With all of the new construction, members of our community have been curious about what the view from the inside looks like. The Marian Home is going through a major expansion and enhancement to our facilities in order to create a place for our residents that feels more like “home”. We are inviting friends of the Marian Home to attend a “Dusty Shoe” Walk Thru on Friday, April 29, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This event is an opportunity to share our progress in turning a vision into reality. Please join us for a tour and social gathering. The event will include heavy appetizers and refreshments. You can RSVP by contacting Eric Halverson at (515) 576-1138 or ehalverson@marianhome.com. We ask guests to enter through the exit door on the southeast side of the Village on 6th Ave N next to our new chapel; signs will be posted to direct you. An Exciting Time at the Marian Home! Over the past few months a committee, comprised of Holy Trinity parishioners, has been working on the Share Our Faith…Secure Our Future Capital Campaign. This effort will assist in funding a project to enhance and expand the Marian Home’s facilities. The goal is to create a place that feels more like “home” for residents and patients. One hundred percent (100%) of the Marian Home Board of Directors has given and 80% of the staff has made a commitment. We have also received pledges and contributions from individual supporters of the Marian Home, relatives of current and former residents and local businesses. To date we have raised nearly $900,000! All Holy Trinity parishioners will soon be asked to make a financial commitment to enrich the lives of current and future Marian Home residents. It is our hope that all will participate in the campaign. For more information please visit our website at www.marianhome.com/giving. If you would like to make a gift today, you can do so by clicking on Help Us Grow With Your Gift on the right side of that page. Thank you for your interest!
