Be Part of Nevada`s Growing Dairy Industry
Be Part of Nevada’s Growing Dairy Industry A 2 million pound per day, state-of-the-art dairy ingredient facility is being built in Fallon, Nev. While Fallon already is home to a vibrant dairy industry, the addition of this plant increases the need for local milk by approximately 1.2 million pounds of milk per day. Through a partnership with the City of Fallon, Nevada Dairy Commission and Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. (DFA), a national dairy farmer-owned milk marketing cooperative, an effort is underway to attract interested dairy producers to help supply this plant.
