Mobility, human service, and transportation professionals struggle to create ride options to meet the
shifting needs of today’s travelers, including individuals with disabilities, older individuals, and those
with low incomes.
This 2-day course will enable participants to develop creative approaches to resolving fragmented
and/or duplicative transportation systems to create a more seamless and cost-efficient network with a
customer-focused mindset.
This course addresses the concept of mobility management and its application to transportation operations at the community level. It also covers funding sources, how to develop the Coordinated Public
Transit and Human Service Transportation Plan, and the tools and resources needed to implement an
effective mobility management program. Finally, the training presents case studies of successful mobility management models that participants can learn from to meet their communities’ needs.
