Creative Connections
because a connected ART city is a creatively smART city!
Corpus Christi Creative Connections is located in the S.E.A. District’s historic
Heritage Park Merriman – Bobys home. Open for public tours as the second
oldest home in Corpus Christi, it offers an Art Gallery, Artist Studios & Gift
Shop and Art workshops in addition to being the business office for the
annual Festival of the Arts in Corpus Christi.
Corpus Christi Creative Connections encourages via a grassroots movement
developed as the annual Festival of the Arts, to annually elevate the profile
of the Coastal Bend’s Arts. This community event provides artistic and
cultural activities that encourage economic development and promotes
tourism for Corpus Christi.
Events such as the free ART in the PARK event in Heritage Park and the
quarterly ART SPEAKS, were all created for the public in an effort to
increase artistic and cultural awareness, support the diversity of artistic
expression in partnership with regional artists, art organizations and their
expressive pursuits.
Creative Connections also features
private docent guided Art Tour of
Corpus Christi’s Public Art Collection
in the uptown, downtown, bayfront
and S.E.A. District areas of Corpus

Creative Connections, offers
membership opportunities,
informative and educational
workshops and programs
throughout the year and is a member of S.E.A. District Assn and the national
organization Americans for the Arts.
