FIRST THINGS FIRST
All men are invited to come at 6:00 am on Wednesday
mornings for “First Things First,” a study of the passage that
will be used for the upcoming sermon.
NORTHVIEW PREVIEW . . . TODAY
If you are new to Northview and would like to become better
acquainted with our ministries, then join us today at 10:00
down at the north entrance at the end of the hall by the gym.
You will have an opportunity to meet the pastors and staff, and
ask questions of any of them at that time.
ADOPT-A-STUDENT/MEET & GREET . . . TODAY
We have a great opportunity, as a church body, to minister to
our college students this Fall with an Adopt-a-Student program
by welcoming them into your home and giving them a “home
away from home.” Join us TODAY at 12:30 in Fellowship Hall
for a potluck “meet & greet” to meet our college students & be
partnered together with them. Potluck: A-L bring a main dish
& salad; M-Z bring a main dish & dessert.
CULTURE LINK . . . October 2 & 3
The Missions Team is bringing to Spokane CULTURELink on
October 2-3. CULTURELink is a dynamic seminar that trains
and prepares individuals, team leaders and team members to
successfully integrate into new cultural environments. The
seminar is designed to be highly relational, informative and
interactive. CULTURELink founder & president, Larry Ragan,
will be leading the 10-session seminar. Please refer to the
brochure handed out last week for details regarding the seminar
and how you can register to be a part of it. For questions,
contact Joe Nadeau at 279-9746 or alissaandjoe@hotmail.
MISSION EVENT . . . October 4 - “Being a Blessing”
Join us as a church family for an International Potluck at 12:30
in the Gym. We will enjoy a delicious meal together and then
Larry Ragan, founder & president of CULTURELink will be the
special speaker. For the potluck, A-L bring an International Hot
Dish & Salad; M-Z bring an International Hot Dish and Dessert.
For more details, contact one of the mission team members.
FCA . . . October 5
All high school students are invited to attend the first Fellowship
of Christian Athletes (FCA) meeting of the year, Monday,
October 5th at 6:30 am in Fellowship Hall. Toby Schwartz,
Head Track Coach at Whitworth University will be speaking and
a free hot breakfast will be served. Anyone who has ever worn
tennis shoes is welcome to attend. If you can get to Northview,
we will get you a ride to school.
